Took my 2000 Ram 2500 in to have a gear hunting issue adressed. They quoted me 2400 for a new transmission. Took it to Cambell Dodge, they found the faulty ground wire. $210 after tax with diagnoses fee. Truck drives like new. This tells me alot about the ethics of the company. Bryan the front desk guy was easy to deal with though. I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

I brought my car in all the way from Kirkland to have the oil changed. I wasn't disappointed. Top notch customer service as they are under new management. Free coffee (and popcorn!) while you wait!!

I will never recommend this shop or take a vehicle here again. I do not care that they have new ownership, and dealing with Dana is about as shady as it gets. Dana & his used car salesman personality will likely be the demise of this shop purchased by Jeff Szekley. Our story is too long to spell out everything but the concise version is that we had the previous owner rebuild the trans in our truck. My husband being active duty military and new here did not know where would be best to have this done. He did his research on parts and spoke to AAMCO before deciding on them to do the rebuild. Well it was built incorrectly. The truck broke down stranding my husband and his buddy in Eugene, OR. We approached Dana this winter about having them look at the truck to see what was wrong. Dana told us both multiple times that they could do a multi-point inspection (mind you this is a transmission we are taking about not a brake change) he was unwilling to look at the trans without charging us. He would not put us in touch with the owner no matter how many times we asked. At this point we could not trust them to look at it and charge us. So we sent our trans out of state, it was fixed and documentation provided (parts, photos & written) of what had been done wrong. So when we stopped in to see Dana one last time on our way to file small claims against them, he finally put us in touch with the new owner. After his review, discussion with his builder, and our builder they have decided there is nothing they are willing to do. Words cannot express my disappointment in Jeff, Dana, the previous transmission builder, and the previous owner. We have spent over $10,000 to have a truck that is reliable. We received no apology, no offer to work with us on a fair settlement just a simple response stating what was done incorrectly but neither Jeff nor AAMCO will be of more help. Big life lesson learned after dealing with this shop and franchise. Don't take something to a general practitioner when it really needs a specialist!

This was the slimiest auto shop that I have ever encountered. I dont usually like to complain but the new manager Dana seemed really scummy. I bought a groupon deal to get my brakes done, and he tried to tell me I needed $8000 worth of repairs on the car. The car itself drove fine, just needed brake stuff done. He refused to put the new brake pads on, which I had already paid for. When I showed up to get the car, he tried to dip out real quick without talking to me. When I said I had questions he started blabbering really weird excuses about leaving when I showed up. Saying he needed a cigarrette. I should have read reviews before taking my car there. That guy is probably going to hell.

Dana the manager, he is great, always honest, explains things well and has great advice. I've gone here for a few years, wouldn't go anywhere else for brakes and struts, shocks and transmission. Thank you Aamco!

Great service even around the holidays. Free diagnostics as advertised and got me back on the road at no cost. Brian was honest and a pleasure to talk to.

I purchased a Groupon coupon for my oil change and brake service for my SRX. The manager Dana has been very professional and provide good service. My family and I usually have our own mechanic that we trust however; moving to a new location we had to find a shop that was dependable and trustworthy. Dana not only fix my oil change and brakes, he informed me the other issues with my car from the long drive from PA. After driving from the East Coast with my SRX, I caused a lot of wear and tear. My car is driving like brand new again thanks to AAMCO in Lacey. Not only did he provided me good service, my husband also brought in his CTS afterward for full service and he provided excellent service as well for that. Thanks Dana and staff.

UPDATE 11-13-14 We went back one last time, after AAMCO called us about this review. Basically, my wife's check engine light came on in June, and we went to AAMCO to repair the vehicle. They installed faulty spark plugs, the car still didn't run. We went back in September, they replaced the spark plugs free of charge, gave us a $150 credit, and apologized for the poor experience we had during their transition of ownership. THE GOOD: They are serious about improving customer service and did their best to address our concerns/ complaints. THE BAD: It seems like going to AAMCO is always a hassle. Something always seems to go wrong and require a return trip. It's frustrating. THE UGLY: New customers and long-term customers are treated the same in terms of payments. Either you have to pay the hundreds or thousands for repairs right there to pick-up, or you sign up for a payment plan with exorbitant interest rates (approx $75/month). These are your options. No in-house credit, even for long-term, established customers. If AAMCO offered an in-house payment plan for long-term, reliable customers, we might stay with them despite past issues. As it is, the cost of repairs + the interest rates means AAMCO falls short on the cost-benefit analysis. They just aren't a good value for the hassle. ------------- OLD REVIEW: I used to be really happy with AAMCO. They treated us very well. I even bought one of their car care packages for full price some time last year. But they went and got greedy with their groupon and sold over 4000 of them. Now those of us that have been going to them for a while and have been happily paying full price for our services are now suffering due to the greed of the Owner. Never have I walked in and been told it would be 5 hours to get my oil changed. Sorry guys but I am going to start rescinding my recommendations I have given all of my friends. I used to be able to say that service here was amazing. I used to be able to say that turn around was super quick. Thanks for changing my mind guys.
