Do you need help recovering from the holidays? Do what Frosty does and visit your chiropractor. Today's the last day of the year to see Dr. Wehling but staff will be available as needed next week for scheduling and supplement purchases.

We are pleased to see that Omaha’s FOX42 television station interviewed Dr. Corey Campbell from Omaha Spine and Sport, and one of his patient’s regarding her own experience with opioids and how chiropractic has worked for her.

Three years ago Dr. Wehling embarked on a journey of post-graduate education to become board certified in Chiropractic internal medicine: https://aca-cdid.com/what_is_dabci.php. This great group of chiropractic students and practicing physicians became like extended family during those weekends away in Kansas City.
Whatever you are doing, wherever you are at in life, whether you are young or older...keep following YOUR dreams!

Sometimes people we cross paths with make an unmistakable positive impression on us. Today was a bittersweet day as we shared food and said goodbye to our receptionist Mackenzie. She has been an excellent example of compassion, skill and dedication. She will be missed and our team wishes her and her husband many blessings as they move back to Michigan to be closer to family.

However, we have also been filled with joy as we have a wonderful new receptionist! Sarah has been learning the ropes from Mackenzie and is fitting in quite well. Stop by sometime and help her feel welcome in each of your special ways. http://ow.ly/i/zVE7Z http://ow.ly/i/zVE8s

We are sad to announce that our wonderful receptionist, Mackenzie, will be leaving us in about a month. She will be heading back to Michigan to be closer to family. We would LOVE to keep her but family comes first. Her contagious smile, positive attitude and Christ-like compassionate have been such a perfect fit for our office. If you are one of our patients, please stop by to say goodbye and make her feel loved.

So, we are beginning our search for another great receptionist. If you know someone is is passionate about natural health, is computer savvy, has a warm personality and could support our motto of helping others realize their full potential that God has created them for, send them our way! We look forward to seeing how God will lead in the future. http://ow.ly/tPDn30ftfLj

Dr. Wehling attended a great webinar yesterday on the Gut-Brain Connection! Topics covered during this webinar:
The gut affects the brain and the brain affects the gut – our behavior can control our gut in several ways.
Virtually every neurotransmitter discovered is found in the gut and/or ENS
Virtually every hormone that affects the brain is made by and/or regulated by the gut
Dysbiosis is linked to numerous “brain” dysfunction conditions: Alcoholism, CFS, RLS, ASD, Anxiety, Depression, Hepatic Encephalopathy, psychosis, anorexia, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, etc.
Environmental factors are paramount – i.e. antibiotics, glyphosate, personal care products, etc.
Vagus nerve activation can play a significant role in treating mood and behavior disorders and as it turns out, chronic disease.
The best things you can do to help your brain and your gut communicate effectively are:
Maintain diversity
Clean up your diet and your environment and advocate for your family’s health
Activate your vagus
If in a rut, focus on the gut
