-22, Rick and Joe and discussing an uncle of Ross' and a friend of Joe's, both friends who asserted they didn't WANT to quit and why should they have to.
I wholeheartedly second that notion- why the hell do users have to listen to the prohibitionist moralists and dogooders who insist they MUST quit, or they'll (never be happy(be a junkie which is No Good(be losers, etc, etc, etc. This is such Bunkum, for society to insist that simply getting high is wrong. There's Nothing Wrong with simply wanting to get, and even Stay high. It's when an (ab)users begins breaking real laws, such as burglarizing a home or three, or stealing cars, or committing strong armed robbery, etc, etc, that society has some justification for stepping in to intervene. Otherwise, who is Anyone to insist anyone Else Must live by their rules and ideas for who life Should be lived, and more, what molecules are ok and which are not ok for me and anyone else to ingest?
Great job Joe Rogan on interviewing Rick Ross. I've had the genuine honor of publishing an article by Gary Webb in my book Under the Influence- the Disinformation Guide to Drugs, but am sad to say I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person. Now, I'm happy to have finally caught an interview with Ross here, interviewed by someone with his head on his shoulders in such a way that his and my perspective mesh well.
Thanks Joe Rogan for doing this interview, and thanks Rick Ross as well. Great post!
