I had a wonderful experience there. I had a rough two weeks, and was throwing my own "pity party." Having just had surgery, I couldn't climb the stairs to the second floor. The host kindly set up a tall table with a tall chair (as opposed to a stool) for my comfort. The food - lobster roll - was delicious! The service - my waiter was Robbie - was very friendly and efficient. I also had an order of raw oysters and dessert - raisin bread pudding with caramel sauce!!! No reason at all to complain. I had a great meal. I had a nice time. I felt a lot better, and cannot wait to return.

Nice atmosphere and place to go with friends. The service is fast and nice. The salads are very tasty and the cocktails are great. The potatoes are also good. The corpose revival was the best

Really cool bar with an open-aired downstairs and a fantastic balcony on the second floor. The drinks are good, but I'd probably go somewhere else for food.

Pros: Quaint atmosphere, good drinks, clean restrooms, amiable servers. Cons: The flavor of the lobster roll I ordered will forever remain on my tongue like a brand. This is neither hyperbole nor a compliment. Also, the homemade potato chips were bland at best and burnt scraps at worst. In short, my dinner was seppuku for my taste buds, although I had the soundness of mind to at least stop after four chips and four chunks of what was allegedly lobster meat (I counted). In the words of my best friend who ordered the same dish as me when I asked her if she had anything to add to this review just now: "Not really. I wasn't paying attention to the staff or anything. Just the horrible food in front of me." Yeah...

Went there a few times and it was nice. Last time I went on a Sunday evening there were just no servers... really. After 5 minutes we had to ask the barman for the menu and even after that no one was there to take our order... We left

Parents are in town? First date? This great quaint place is your humble spot to enjoy yourself outside of all the crazy. Fine beer selection, extended liqours, and tummy settling food for all of your cravings. Best morning bar on the Upper East Side with a sparkle smiling staff. Enjoy!
