Quite a random fish bar... famed for how fresh the fish is apparently. It's a really quick feast and its licensed so you can get your fish, chips and peroni in less than 5 minutes. They served us a portion of pink prawns for free that were incredibly fishy. INCREDIBLY. Had one and left the rest. Surly staff, but decent chips.

Some tasty and reasonably-priced fish and chips! I suggest sticking with the cod for fried fish, the haddock was a bit dry.

Thumbs up. Great crispy batter with gobs of crunchy bits at either end. Nice fresh fish. De end traditional British chips.

I had my reservations about this as I don't eat seafood generally (bad experiences previously) however, looking at all the fresh cod being dished out, I had to try it! The food was simply amazing.... Service was very quick, we ordered within 5mins and the food was on our table in 10 - piping hot. The restaurant was really busy as was the takeaway counter - always a real good sign. A steady stream of London cabbies coming and going, so it has to be good right :-) We were a party of four, with two people from the States wanting to try authentic English fish n chips and boy did they get that! Will definitely be back and happy to recommend....

Best fish and chips in London. Staff can be a bit brusque but once they get to know you are, they are charming. Cod and Haddock are outstanding and I love the extra touches such as free prawns, pickles and dishes of tartar and ketchup. Great before visiting the theatres nearby.
