Nice bar with a wide selection of whiskey and other various drinks. I came here with some friends while waiting for our table at Sugarfish (a block up) And naturally, I went to my go-to drink...an old fashioned! The drink was well made (they didn't skimp on the alcohol!) and our waitress was really nice. We also had some small snacks (pita bread) and had a nice time hanging out for a bit. Since it was still early (dinner time), the bar was relatively empty :)

Cool hunting lodge/gentlemen's club décor. Huge whisky and bourbon selection! Come to relish.

Happy Hour Manhattans and a old man lodge feel. I love this place. Definitely try their Mint Julep. It's the goods.

There is definitely something special about Seven Grand that keeps me coming back. Perhaps it's the Old Fashioned that bursts with flavors, the live bands, the friendly bartenders, or the vast selection of whiskey? It has to be all the above! I enjoy the atmosphere and the chill vibe. There's also a pool table and an outdoor patio for fresh air although it's usually filled with smokers. Parking can be a pain and finding this place can be tricky. A lot of people like myself have missed it and end up at Seven Bar Lounge. Just look for Mas Malo as they share the same entrance.

It is certainly classy, I will grant it that. I will also grant that they do have quite an impressive assortment of whiskeys of all variety, and I would guess that they're all quite tasty. And as a number of people on yelp mentioned, they do make a truly fantastic mint julep (and in a very fancy metal glass). And while it might get crazy later, we came near the beginning of their hours, and it wasn't crowded at all. Still, I would love this place like crazy, if it weren't for one thing: they are *not* cheap. At all. I tried two things, two things that were near the cheap end of their offerings, and paid over 30 bucks. They were both excellent (the previously-mentioned mint julep, and a single malt I hadn't tried before), but dang. I could pay 15 bucks here for one shot of Laphroiag 10 (my favorite scotch so far that I've tried), or I could go to my local Trader Joe's, and get a whole 750ml bottle for about 40.

This place blows. I've been here twice, and both experiences were the same. I waited approximately 10 minutes for service (from stuck up bartenders) even though it wasn't very crowded, and people that came up to the bar after me were served first. They didn't have the beer I ordered, so the bartender suggested Brother Thelonious beer. He poured me a .25L glass for the bargain price of $10. That's right, I paid $10 for a half pint of beer. Are you kidding me? The bar is so dark that I literally couldn't recognize the people I was meeting until I was 4 feet from them. The only reason I gave a 2 star rating as opposed to a 1 star is because they have an expansive whiskey menu which is cool if you're a whiskey aficionado. Otherwise, skip this place, it's awful.
