I was talking to a neighbor and he said he has a coworker who believes this shit (sans the vinegar and spray bottle, I think). He says the contrails are chemical trails that the government is spraying for mind control purposes. WOW.

Garrrrrrrrrh! I'm lucky to have this amazing view from my office and I don't have a camera capable of capturing the awesome views...especially the EPIC sunset going on right now.

I need some new gear!

The sunset pic there is good, but the view from our office was better. I did capture a short video of the sun setting. I'll try to get it cleaned up and released soon.

Somebody out there must have an unloved DSLR they can send me so I can share beautiful pictures with the world!

Ok, radio types. Which cheap signal analyzer would you buy? I'm principally interested in sub-GHz work. The TI SA430 or the RF Explorer? The RF Explorer is cheaper, even if you get the piggyback module to enable 2.4GHz, and it is usable without a computer. It also has a MacOS client while the TI product appears to be Windows only, although the source is open.

Thanks for sharing your experience. That's the conclusion I'm drawing, but didn't know if there was some serious flaw in the RF Explorer that I was missing...

Phillips drive screws. Hate. Them.

Especially ones made from soft steel that strip out and require me to file a slot in the head so they can be removed. Grrrrrr.

I'm not sure any bit would have worked on this one...the steel was really soft.

I'm hanging out at the Collins Pub in Seattle waiting for some friends. This is a truly excellent joint...kickass beers on tap, free wifi, continuous Zeppelin on the stereo, and a bacon cheeseburger that has to be tried to be believed.

The suck factor is pretty damn low...it's amazing to me that other restaurants manage to survive when places like Collins exist.

Are there any FIRST LEGO teams in the Seattle Eastside area? Not having much luck tracking one down. Need to put the kids to work doing something productive...
