I was reading the rules and I have a question: Why some supers need to invoke an aspect in order to use his powers, but some others dont? For example Atlas-type supers dont need to invoke any aspect to fly, but Metaphore-type or Speedter-type must do it in order to change his aspect.

Also I have another doubt (and for what I have seen, a lot of people on internet have it too): What is really the diference between a Power Aspect and a Power Stunt? The rulebook seems very variable about this, while some powers dont need a stunt (like flying or shooting energy) some others need it (like Incanters).

I looked an answer in a forum that seems reliable: If some skill does something similar than the power (like flying been just a good athletic feat) doesnt need a stunt. But again, a lot of superpowers use Willpower as a aspect permition, like projections, but the description of the atribute doesnt cover anything similar with that powes.

So... I always used the rules from Venture City about powers (for super-powers, medieval wizards, psionics, everythin a normal person cant do). I liked using stunts to create powers, because it seems really balanced to pay the refresh to get a super-human skill (and balance is really important in my group).

But today I was reading Wearing the Cape, Interface Zero and Do: Fate of the Fliying Temple (yeah, I have a lot of free time). In these games, powers are handled with aspects. For example, if you want to walk trough walls you just take it as an aspect.

And I was saying "hey, but anyone can take a lot of weird aspects, there is no balance. If want a "regular" person fighting aside a wizard is going to be unbalanced, the wizard can do more things and he is not paying anithing".

So I looked for posts in reddit talking about how to handle powers and I realized everyone use aspects. And I think the convinced me

So I looked to the Venture City powers I always liked, and I realized than maybe I was wrong about that balance.

For example, look at the Telekinesis stunt. You can glean things from people minds using Investigate. But what if a "regular" character without that power just interrogate people? It get the same result, and he dont pay the refresh for the stunt. The same happen with Energy Blast, you get the stunt to fire projectiles with shoot, but what if some people just grab a rock from the grab and throw it? Its the same, but without the stunt.

So I want to know your opinions, because my world of beatiful stunts and balance and all that shit is falling apart.
(Sorry for my bad english, I am not a native english speaker)
