If you have Lastpass managed logins, how do you login on a different device (library, brothers tablet)? Or do you just hope you never have to?

And what do you do if you have a new Chromebook, and have to login with your gmail password just to get to the desktop?

CocoRosie's video makes this already chilling song 100x more disturbing.

I am reading the broken english questions people are asking about the Acer C720 #Chromebook on Amazon. Some of my favorites:

'What abouty 8.1, how much is power??'
'what type of browser '
'what is spotify'
'dial up'
'Can Jaws be down loaded on yhis?'
'chromebook crashed'
'parent'

And my favorite, "stream" to which someone answered "I wouldn't take it to a stream with you. It isn't waterproof. "

Whenever I judge the technical/structural richness of a song, this is the gold standard I measure against. Especially from 4:35-5:15. The vocals and lyrics will certainly be overbearing to some, they certainly were to me at first. But after a while I got used to it, and As The Roots Undo became one of my favorite albums ever.

One of the my favorite instrumental-type songs. Grails have put out a bunch of material since Burden of Hope but imo this is still the best track they've ever written.

Reading Clausewitz: A Very Short Introduction, I was fascinated to learn that the way pre-Clausewitz writers described military genius was very similar to how Thomas Kuhn characterizes "revolutionary" science.

This is Michael Howard, describing pre-Clausewitz thinkers:

"*There could be no 'principles of war', according to this school of thought; everything was a matter of individual genius that could be neither imitated nor analyzed. The appearance of a Frederick or of a Bonaparte was as unpredictable as that of a Shakespeare or a Mozart; they were exceptional, paranormal phenomena, and to seek for the secret of their success was a waste of time*."

And you could perhaps map the contrast of "paranormal" vs. normal military genius to revolutionary vs "normal" science. They both make genius irreducibly mysterious. What I like about my somewhat forced comparison is that in Clausewitz's case, this point of view was unacceptable and he transcended it, and I think the same can and should be done with Kuhn's idea of revolutionary science.
