In response to this week’s controversy involving the campus chapter of Young Conservatives of Texas plans to hold a “catch an illegal immigrant” game the University Leadership Initiative, the student organization on campus that advocates for Comprehensive Immigration Reform and access to higher education for all, organized a rally to be held today at noon. While the YCT cancelled their event, immigration advocates are going forward with the rally to bring attention to the need for immigration reform.
