Ms. Angela, I live in Shelby, NC, a Cleveland County resident since 1998.  I wanted to share my comment concerning the little girl who was asked to leave KFC facility back in May 2014, but I  believe the grandmother may have reported in June 2014.  For all who are in questioned if this happened, yes.  KFC will not make these irresponsible employees take responsibility for their incompetent acts.  KFC and their insurance companies cover dirt with dirt only to come out "dirty".  She may have the stores mixed up (grandmother), date may be off.  But, if she said this is what happen, I will be the first to believe her and she needs to stand by her story in spite of what others think or say.  Of course, KFC is like the car insurance companies, when at fault, don't admit fault.  Talk to your insurance agent first.
Well, KFC is not going to allow responsibility on their part and make a way to cover for their employees.  A no fault clause if I may.  My story I want to share is, on September 10, 2014, I was injured at the KFC here in Shelby, NC on highway 74 by one of KFC employees.  My daughter and a girl had a confrontation concerning us being in drive threw to long making our order.  Which we where in drive-thru 2-3 minutes.  So I apologized to the drive threw employee and told her we would just come in.  The KFC drive threw employee got really belligerent and was very angry in tone. (You would of thought she was on drugs and coming down or needed her next fix or she may have missed daily meds, her conduct should not have flared up like that just because a person took to long to order)  My daughter pulled around KFC and went in.  She immediately returned and said the drive threw employee was really loud and as if she was wanting to fight to avoid a confrontation, she came out.  So, I told my daughter I would go in.  As I preceded to go in, another KFC employee helped me with the door.  I already have lower back problems that I have been getting seen for, for the past couple of years but we had them under control.  She saw plainly I could not get the door open on my own.  As I was getting ready to go in I dropped the ($20) bill I had in my hand to pay for the food.  She (the KFC employee) picked it up and handed back to me and I told her thank you very much.  She states, you are welcome and I said wait a second let me make sure I have the order correct (what my daughter's) were eating.  I went back to the car, then back to the KFC door where she (the KFC employee) opened the door for me a second time.  Reaching the thresh hole of the door, did not go in to the facility, I heard a loud voice from drive threw say, "Get that B out of my store. And before I could even turn around to go back to the car, the KFC employee assaulted me by shoving me back out of the thresh hole of the door where I landed in scrubs and the concrete of the KFC property.  I heard the door quickly lock.  I was traumatized by the incident both physically and emotionally.  I already had health problems that I was dealing with which this assault made worse.  I already had lower back problems, but where I landed on the pavement made it worse, up threw the back and my top part of shoulders were hurt, right hand swollen up like the half size of a football, some swelling to the left hand, inner left thigh badly bruised (purple, black, and green).  Scratches from the back part of my neck down from the scrubs.  I am a 46 year old Pastors wife and preacher as well.  Been disabled since about the age of 24 years old due to epilepsy.  We did call the Shelby City Police where he talked to her and he "states", she said she didn't do it.  I was setting on the side of the curb at the KFC holding my right arm with my hair matted from the scrubs.  It was really sad.  I think, when a officer shows to be incompetent, he definitely does not need to be saying, "Serve and Protect".  At some point, common sense should have kicked in.  Here is a black women with here hair matted with bush pieces, scrubs tore down and thrown all over the side walk and she's holding her arm?  But the KFC employee was a white girl and she didn't do it?  They did not one thing but hand me a piece of paper with her name, address and said I could talk to the magistrate.  I wondered if it would have been the other way around, what would have been the outcome?  Heretically speaking.  I had my daughter to drop me off at home and I ate a sandwich and took something for pain and laid down.  We had told the officer I would go by the hospital to get checked out, but I started having seizures and we went on to the house.  My incident happen September 10, 2014, but they have, September 09, 2014 as incident date.  Date wasn't correct and me an my husband had told them the date it happen.  So I know, the baby's grandmother may not be the one off with the date.  Or they just said what they wanted to say after viewing the tape.  Shelby's store didn't even have cameras in the store as the Shelby officer indicated to me and my daughters.  I was a total wreck.  Depressed, crying and not able to sleep because of so much pain.  I was on different depression/anxiety meds.  Had to start back injections back.  Lower back was under control with meds but because of the incident at KFC pain meds wasn't working so we went back to back injections.  Later I found out, because of depression/ anxiety meds and pain meds could have caused me respiratory depression.  And I was having some breathing problems, but really didn't give that much thought to it because I do have asthma flare ups every once in a while.  I rubbed my arm down with oil to try get some comfort.  Only to see more injuries showing up on September 13, 2014 right arm half size of foot ball, inner left thigh purple, black, green, and the other things the emergency room Dr. pointed out with the examination on September 13, 2014.  I have Dr.'s records, pictures.  I did file chargers on September 13, 2014.  We had stopped by the magistrates on the 13th and was advised to go to emergency room so the charge could be determined (for the KFC worker who assaulted me.)  We did as told.  The warrant was issued for a simple assault.  It was also told to us, I would be notified by subpoena when to be in court, but by the KFC employee living in another state, she would have to come across the line for arrest, they would not go across line to arrest the KFC employee who assaulted me.  Three months of my life robbed, no church, no outings, unless it was to the Dr. and back.  Emotionally and physically traumatized , what will be the after math with the upper back and shoulders.  I've be threw a lot with my lower back over the years, now this and just could not understand why God didn't stop her?  But now, my life slowing coming back together where I can reasonable think and pray.  We are free moral agents having the power of choice and whatever we decide to do, each person is responsible for their own actions whether good or bad.  God gives us a choice.  He does not force anything on any of us and even though the KFC employee was instructed to do something that was wrong, the employee still had the power of choice.  She didn't have to do it and no one should have that much influence to cause another to do wrong its really sad.  Now, I've waited.  All information together, bills, pictures, etc.  Received a call on yesterday, 02/23/2015 from KFC's insurance company indicating that charges had been dismissed against the KFC employee and they, KFC was not liable for injuries I had and that they wasn't done by the employee.  She goes on to indicate, I have statements from other customers who said it didn't happen that way?  I said what?  That's a lie.  And a customer would not have said that if they saw what happen?  The insurance adjuster was just as jolly.  You know, mentally, even though saved, I thought I was not going to get threw this.  My husband and I went to the court house today 02/24/2015 to find out the KFC employee's court date was February 05, 2015.  They gave us the run around at the courts for about an hour.  As they saw my husband was getting upset, they soon told us it was dismissed because I didn't show up.  Our question was, how can you show up to something you didn't know about?  We kept asking, who was responsible for deliver or sending the subpoena?  Getting the run around.  We don't know.  Finally comes out.  The Shelby City Police Department.  Now in our area, it's the County that comes out.  The sad part, they put the address was a undeliverable address, but they know where we live by us being Pastors here in Shelby.  Long story short.  Sadly to say, one of our close friends was in a marriage where a Shelby City Police was running around with the other married spouse.  Our close friend reported it to the Shelby Police Chief where the officer was upheld in wrong doing.  Suppose, after talking/investigating?  The officer wasn't doing it.  We stood with our close friend for every woman, man, have your own spouse.  The officer took someone else spouse.  The Shelby Officer married our close friends spouse shortly after our close friends marriage ended in divorce.  So, I feel, because you know, we know, did this get done on purpose (subpoena) not delivered?  Now, the warrant dismissed, KFC denying I was hurt there or better yet, it didn't happen that way?  I have statements from customers?  The KFC worker didn't just injure & traumatize me, but that was a cowardly act as well.  Shoved a disabled Pastors wife/preacher, mother of three, grandmother to four?  And she saw visibly, (the KFC employee) I couldn't even get the door open by my self.  So, yes.  The KFC employee said that concerning the baby that was bitten by the dog.  KFC DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE WELFARE OF THE CUSTOMERS!  There is no accountability when things happen in the stores.  They use "dirt" to cover up "dirt" only to end up being "dirty" and only care about getting the customers hard earned money.  Food for thought, what about the employees, if it is unsafe place, and no concern for the customers, EMPLOYEES are how safe?  They had no cameras in this store in Shelby, NC.  What if a serial killer came threw and shot up the entire store?  How safe are you KFC employees?   And to top it off, the scrubs the KFC employee shoved me in, they finished tearing down and put up pine trees as tall as the building and planted them from the side to  the front of the building like they had always been there.  But, lucky I have before and after pictures  what it was and what it is now.   After landing in the scrubs and falling on the cement, I could of hit my head and died.  Thank God it didn't happen that way.  But what will it take for KFC to stop covering up dirt with dirt so THEIR EMPLOYEES can be accountable for there actions and they need to take responsibility for the irresponsible employees they hire.  I hope it does not come to the point of someone loosing their life for them to take responsibility (KFC) and stop this, we aren't liable for the EMPLOYEE, but they hired them.  I saw where a mans teeth were knocked out, hot grease poured on one and the stories go on and on.  And what happens each time a employee gets away with mistreatment of the customers and KFC covers dirt with dirt, it just opens the door for other KFC employees to do the same thing there is no example being set that it will not be tolerated that's why it keeps going from state to state all kinds of stuff going on with the help of KFC covering, we are not liable for that!  It's sadly the truth.  There must  be a stance made.  Even if it is others stop buying at KFC until they make a safe place for their customers.  Will you be the next KFC victim?  Something to think about every time you open one of KFC's doors.  Read the stories, valuable info to those who don't believe...Have pictures I will be posting and trying to reach all, if you choose to eat at a KFC, anywhere, your are gambling with, will it be a injury, death?  How important is your life when it comes to buying chicken in any KFC?????  You can get chicken anywhere even if you have to fry or bake it, but you only have one life....How important is it?  Me?  I'll never buy another piece of chicken from KFC.  After this, I would not step back on KFC property even if it was free food!
