I've been to Salvatores several times. I have to say I have never been disappointed with either the service or the menu. I find the wait staff and bartenders to be personable, pleasant, attentive and willing to please. Although I go to the North End for the authentic Italian - Salvatores is a great local bar, with a great bar menu and drinks. They have a DJ there on Friday and Entertainment on Saturdays in the bar area but it doesn't intrude on the overall atmosphere.

To say I am dissatisfied would be an understatement, my wife and I went here for the first time last night and had a terrible experience. I ordered the scallops and shrimp fra diavolo and as soon as it was put in front of me it smelled awful, I lifted the plate and noticed it was obviously the scallops, they were bad. I made the waiter aware of this and he couldnt of been nicer and said I will get the manager. The manager comes and right away she says before I said anything that the seafood was brought in "fresh" daily and basically acted like I couldnt possibly be correct. She just kept saying how fresh her seafood was. Needless to say, we wont be going back to Salvatores.

Love Salvatore's Medford. Food is good, drink is good. If you are lucky enough to get Georgia as your server you will have an A plus experience. Great place. Trivia on Thursday is also great. Kevin does trivia how it should be done!

Just had a luncheon there for a party of 25 people with various sandwiches and wraps and a big tossed salad, everything was delicious. Our waiter James was very accommodating to our party. A great big thank you to Salvatore's for a successful time!

Came in here for their Monday wireless lunch. They give you 1/2 off if you give them your cell phone and eat disconnected. The lunch menu has lots of options from pizza's, to pasta and apps and salad's. The staff is friendly and the food is flavorful. They give you bread with oil to start which is also nice. I would go back again.

I thought the food was a low 4 star rating, but the service makes up for it. The mussels were great - perfectly cooked and a great sauce. We got extra bread and sopped up all that goodness. Braised pork belly in the carbonara sounds like a good idea... but the traditional bacon provides a texture and flavor that they just didn't get to. The gnocchi dish was also a little too sweet and heavy... overall, the carbonara dish (normally a heavy dish) needed a little more oomph and the gnocchi (normally a lighter dish) needed a little less - they hit that middle too much. Nonetheless, it was a good experience. I'd consider going back if I were in the area.
