Google will no longer make the Google Toolbar for Firefox 5 and above because supposedly most of the key features it offered are already in Firefox. That's not actually true. Indeed, one of the biggest features that Google itself touted was how the Google Toolbar allowed for recording your web history, which was used with personalized search results. If you used that in Firefox and liked it, now your only option is to use Internet Explorer -- because Chrome don't do the Google Toobar, either. Maybe not that many people used the toolbar for web history recording?
