The food is excellent! There's no doubt about it. The decor, you're kidding me! It's been the New York City Public Library right on Bryant Park. You're basically in a greenhouse, why wouldn't it be wonderful? The waitstaff, wonderful, quick, ready to serve! The hostess, I wouldn't say so... If you plan on eating here or have your heart set on it, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE RESERVATIONS! There are a few side tables open to walk-ins but we arrived at 11:29am, all tables empty and were told they were completely booked! We grabbed a side table, and watched the next 6 parties be told the same thing as they took their tables next to us while the whole dining area was empty, waiting on the reserved parties to get there, which still had yet to arrive by 12:15 when we left. It was fun to watch everyone's expressions when the hostess told them they were booked and every table was empty... :)

They're very helpful. When you want true 5th Avenue service, I suggest going here. I simply asked for a pair of size Small basic underwear and they went to all links to find it on the computer and in the back, bringing it out while I was at the register! It wasn't a big deal but they made sure they found it if they had it well after I had let it go. Their effort alone couldn't let me say no to buying them at that point!

I do not recommend this place unless only using it as a first time customer with an obvious discount. Although I believe they truly are dog friendly people, they aren't people friendly. Like most small business owners, they must be struggling to make it because they verbally promised me a discounted price on doggy daycare while I was boarding yet when I arrived, my bill was nearly $100 more than I was told it would be, that's still leaving me paying $54/day for boarding and an extra $10 daycare costs as the "discounted price" which I had to argue to get even though promised it. After being made to feel cheap and insulted because I expected the price verbally promised, I regretfully will not be taking my dog here any longer. Trying to cheat me out of money is one thing but making me feel bad about it after is another...Unfortunately, I believe this place will burn you sooner or later if you choose to be a customer

I had previously been to this salon twice and thought it was great! However, after recent surgery, I was unable to wash my own hair. And lucky for me at my most recent visit to Assaf Salon, I had received a voucher for 50% off ANY HAIR SERVICE. Perfect! I called in advance, grabbed an appt. right away, got to the salon and was washed and ready to go. As I was checking out, not only did Assaf’s sister, working the front desk, refuse my voucher which said ANY hair service, no specific one (because she said it was for other services Iike color or something) but she then charged me an extra $15 because she said my hair was more than expected and because the owner, Assaf, did my hair. Well, the extra charge should have been set forth before the wash in my opinion and I agree I have thick hair but the owner happened to be a horrible washer on top of it all and I was never advised he was the owner which equals additional fees. Additionally, as he was blow drying, it didn’t help that he and his sister were speaking their foreign tongue, obviously discussing my new hair wash price, while he was drying my hair. The nail salons are bad enough,...... This was my new and loved hair salon. I hated the uncomfortable way they made me feel for having thick hair and paying them to wash it because I was unable. Oh, I was unable to do it because of a breast augmentation..... Which I even explained why during the wash to the owner. He quickly replied all girls he knew were fine by day 7, snuff... I was on day 10. And last but not least, The top of my hair was washed but underneath was not even shampooed or conditioned. It was still completely greasy, I really had my heart set on this salon but I do not recommend it to anyone now. It is really disappointing bc finding a good salon is almost better than finding a good man at times..... This one just does not seem to pass the test either... I will keep searching for a new salon since my third date with this one went so bad. :(

My boyfriend and I randomly stopped in for a quick bite to eat during happy hour while on a weekend trip visiting NYC, which we do every few months for his work. This place was great! We couldn't have popped into a better place. The atmosphere is trendy and updated.. Our waitress was great and super friendly (and as a Kentucky girl, I'd like to think I know true friendliness... :) ... Highly recommend for food and friendliness!

Growing up in Kentucky, I was taught that women are prized based on their home-making skills, sweet tea or maybe their ability to ride a horse. However, that is not reality. Reality was that I had moved to Florida, wasn’t getting any younger and had Size A breasts with one slightly smaller than the other. So at 28, I told my boyfriend I wanted to make a consultation for a breast augmentation. Fully supportive, he researched and concluded Dr. Rothfield to be the BEST. After my initial consultation with Dr. Rothfield, I immediately knew he was an elitist in his field, although his credentials clearly speak for themselves. I didn’t want or need any other consultations if I were to follow-through with the surgery. After doing further research over the course of a couple weeks, I decided to get the surgery. My surgery went just as planned and I began my road to recovery. About a week after my surgery, Dr. Rothfield’s assistant called to check-in. Of course, I was happy about my choice to have the surgery but felt this overwhelming depression that I couldn’t shake off for some reason. I was completely honest with her about how I felt and she advised that I come in and see them. When I got to the office, Dr. Rothfield explained how I was suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder which is just as common after surgery as when having a baby. He and his staff comforted and reassured me of everything. No awards, recognitions, or even online reviews for that matter, compare to the reassurance he provided me when I was having a very emotionally tough time. I’m truly grateful to him and his staff for everything. In regards to my physical well-being, there’s no other way to put it other than I simply love my breasts! He did an outstanding job. What were once small and disproportionate are fully healed, proportionate and a large C/small D. As such, I believe it goes without saying, if you’re looking for an exceptional surgeon, you have found the right one.
