I avoided this place for a while after reading some of the reviews. After finally trying it today with my family and sampling several variations on their rice platters I can't imagine how anyone could ever give this a negative review. Both the server and what seemed to be the manager was very friendly and accommodating. The environment was clean and modern. The food was tasty, fresh, and filling. My only complaint were that the pita bread was very floury, to the point of being unappetizing. To move from complaints to helpful criticisms, there's two things I'd change about their menu. First, most of the side dishes feel a little too similar somehow. They all tasted great (eggplant mousaka was my favorite), but they're mostly vegetable-based and mostly cold. The second thing I was a little disappointed in was the lack of lamb on the menu. In my mind, even if you're more Mediterranean "fusion" than traditional Mediterranean, you can't lose the lamb. I'd expect to pay a premium of course but its gotta be there. Something that very much makes up for the lack of variety in the side dish arena is the selection of dressings. Which dressing you choose puts a completely different spin on whatever your primary dish is. In this way there's quite a bit of variety to explore. This is definitely on my list of restaurants I would frequent. Would be a great alternative to Chipolte or Qdoba if you're not in the mood for mexican-fusion but want a similar experience. PS: Also, I prefer this over Pita Inn, which admittedly has much larger portions, but for all the food you get I don't think its all that great. They're also not as conveniently located, and you have to wait while they prepare it. They do have lamb though...

Been here several times. Food is always delicious. Atmosphere and employee attitude usually it's great also. But few times they just lost attention. Still believe it's worth to eat. Salads and desserts are the must to try !

Pros: cool place, you won't even realize it's there if you don't pay attention why driving! Found this place with friends recommendation, food is great and the price is not going to bit a hole out of your pocket! Cons: Quiet place as well but very crowded at lunch time! come early if you plan to hang out here!

Like their menu and the food. All of it is very fresh. My complaint is that there's not enough meat in their dishes. I usually feel a little wanting at the end of my meal. Pita Inn gives you more meat for sure, but it can't match the overall-quality and selection here. The qaulity is top-notch from my perspective.

This is a great place for a relatively healthy fast food meal. It is kind of like a Mediterranean Chipotle. You get a choice of meat, sauce, three toppings, and a piece of pita bread. My favorite is the chicken plate with, spicy aoli sause ,with veggies, feta cheese, and olives. I've always gotten superior customer service here and everyone is very friendly. The best part is that they have a really good rewards program that'll get you lots of free side items like hummus or baklava. You just snap the receipt with your phone. Free wifi too. Great place and I'll continue to go back!

It's nice to have another healthier option, but I thought the food was just ok. I went around lunch during the week, and the food tasted like it had been out there since the morning. Had the steak roti. Good flavor, but many of the pieces were rather tough and dry. The red cabbage slaw was dry and lacking flavor. The cous-cous and the rice were just ok. The hummus was good, but needed a bit more flavor. What I didn't like was the pitas. That had the consistency of under cooked pizza dough, and not the consistency of pitas which I'm used to. I'd second the Pita Inn preference, and also include the place on Harlem Ave in Norridge, the same escapes me. Really like their hummus.

No complaints about the food at all. The menu is set up so you are always getting something ala carte which is a premium here. Other "Mediterranean" (read Middle Eastern, not a slam, they have wonderful food) places do just as well for less. It is conveniently located for me though, so I'll happily come back. Update: The online menu works wonderfully, especially with those of us are trying to apply Weight Watchers Points to your meal.
