I love the stone eagle tavern! I've been here many many time and never had anything I don't love. We've also brought many friends and family members, everyone had loved it. The prices are fantastic as well, my husband and I stopped in today and ordered the fillet mignon, fish and chip, 2 beers and a cocktail and the bill was under $50.

My friend had lasagna and gave me a bite. It was amazing! I, however, ordered an uber expensive filet mignon. Though I ordered it cooked medium-rare, my filet was visibly burnt to the point of inedible on one side, dried out, awful, and served on a hot plate still sizzling and cooking even more. The chef himself proudly delivered it to my table like that!! I barely ate any. Rather than compensate me any portion of the $40 I paid they brought out a complimentary dessert I wasn't hungry enough to eat. I am disappointed in the handling of that situation and not likely to return. Coming here seems to be a bit of a gamble so I recommend avoiding the more expensive fare thus managing your own disappointment levels.

Stone eagle has a beautiful outdoor area and nice portions. The service was slow on a weekday afternoon, we actually had to ask for our food. My ham n cheese sandwich was soooo salty that I had 2 full large cups of water. I couldnt eat the baked beans since it looked like chilly, ground beef included. I will probably give them another try since my friend really enjoyed her meal.

Worst food that I have had in a LONG time. We ordered the bruschetta. which ended up being a pizza instead, since the entire thing was cooked, then cut into slices. I ordered the stuffed whitefish. They used imitation crab-meat in it. The menu said it was finished with shallots, when clearly it was green onions that scattered all over my plate. My wife ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, and the seasoning was so overpowering in the meatballs, they were uneatable. When we brought these issues up to the manager she had the following to say: 1: This is the way we make OUR bruschetta. I asked her why they didn't just call it a pizza, since that is what it really is. bruschetta should not be cooked. That is one of the highlights of bruschetta. The fresh and lively tasted of the fresh mozzarella cheese and the fresh tomatoes is what makes bruschetta so good. 2. Those ARE shallots on your plate. I said no, shallots are little reddish/purple onions, not circular green onions. 3. She also told me that there was no fake crab-meat in the filling, when I pulled a piece out of the filling to show her (known by the red dye used on fake crab) she just denied it. No wonder why there was only 3 cars in the parking lot at 1pm. I would NEVER go back!

WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE EVER!!... We were seated right away and that was the one good thing about this place.. Waitress took 10 minutes to come by for the first time.. Appetizers took 25 minutes to come out (pulled pork sliders) and then we waited 40 MINUTES for our food to come out, no exaggeration. It took that long for our food to come out.. For pasta and "jambalaya" which basically looked like rice with a can of tomato sauce poured over it... Food was mediocre!! Will certainly never come back ever.. Honestly this place sucked! =/
