I went here sober last Sat night and asked the bar tender for the Sierra on tap. The bar tender said, "Do you want the Pale Ale or the Red?" I responded with "I want the Sierra on tap." She gives me a can of Pale Ale. I have never had Pale Ale in a can before, so feeling rude if I said anything, I decided to try it. It was awful. I handed it back to her and said I wanted the Sierra on tap, not in a can. She said, "You need to specify!" I responded with "I did specify" and she just ignored me. I said Can I get the Sierra on tap then, because this is garbage, and she said okay and rolled her eyes at me. Came back saying that the tap was warm. So, all that basically came down to her not giving me the tap beer, because it was warm and blaming me on not "specifying." What happened to customer service? This place is a dive and that lady bartender was not nice.

There's beer and tattered barstools. Go for the beer, sit if you must.

Classic dive bar with efficient bartenders, no frills cocktails, and plenty of space to chill with your friends. They do stock some great brew selections and have some nicer liquors. Bring cash.

I come here for the shuffle board and $2 Olympia. Bartenders are nice and it doesn't get too packed.

Take a step off the beaten path and check out this quirky, laid back bar. Doc's is built into an abandoned movie theater, and as a result has a somewhat unusual layout. Buy a PBR at the bar in front and then check out the back, which has an array of booths and tables, board games, and a well-maintained shuffleboard table. This place is always bustling on weekend nights, and there's never any shortage of competition for board games or shuffleboard. Relatively young, friendly hipster crowd.

Dive bar in the Mission - pretty typical, but Doc's has a little bit of quirk to it. It can get super crowded but the layout somehow makes it bearable, and its always a good time here. The bartenders are always busy and seem to have a hard time keeping up, so best just to go for beer. Always a must on Mission bar crawl spots.

Popped into this dive bar with about 6 friends on a Saturday night after deciding against a $5 cover at another bar. Just by sheer laid-backness, Doc's Clock was already making sense to me at that point, so I ordered a Bulliet Bourbon Old Fashioned and continued the conversation I was just having with my pals. The clientel were laid-back, no frills types. The bar is really long, which is helpful when you like sitting at a bar, or hate fighting for a bartender, but head's up: the space between the bar and wall is a bit narrow. Once a group of six people came in the door, we knew it was time to shuffle down to the back where there was more room. Other things I noticed: there are lots of board games, a pinball machine and the bartenders were pretty swift on their feet when making us our drinks.

This is the worst bar I have ever been to. I have never received such bad service from anyone anywhere. The bartenders were rude, unhelpful, and on a dead Tuesday night, despite tons of open seating left, I was asked to leave because I wasn't drinking enough to be profitable. They only accept cash, and their ATM doesn't work if you have a zero in your pin number. On top of all this, the beer selection is small and crappy, the seating was terribly uncomfortable (even for bar stools), and the lighting was way too dark.
