After some updates about my surgery and what I'm up to now, I talk a bit about the new instructional video I just published. It's on a self-defense topic that is often overlooked. The episode ends with another Q&A.

To make up for the delay of the last episode, episode 008 is an extra long one. I interview Dennis Dilday, who is both an experienced chiropractor and Tai Chi Chuan practitioner. We talk in detail about the art we practice, self-defense, body mechanics and much, more.

In episode 007 I talk mainly about how I taught self-defense to my children. This started at an early age and continued all the way into their teenage years. It's not as much about fighting techniques as it is about building character.

Welcome to already episode 006 of the podcast! In this one I give a few updates and Q&A as usual, with the main topic focusing on complex issues and an intellectual exercise to explain a few things I feel are important.

This episode features a long interview with Marc MacYoung. Marc is one of the pioneers of realistic self-defense instruction, having written his first books on martial arts, violence and street-survival almost 30 years ago.

In this violence analysis for self-defense video I take a look at a case of a failed gun disarm. I don't have any additional information other than the video re. context or where this happened. So we have to make due with what we see.
That said, there are some interesting lessons to be learned from this video.
