Crowdsourcing, crowdfunding, sharing economy. Je to o zdieľaní prebytočných kapacít a sile davu. Už netreba "investorov". Zdieľame tu zaujímavé crowdfunding riešenia problémov. Platformy, nie konkrétne projekty. Medicína, grafika, programovanie, umelá inteligencia, traktory, parkovacie miesta - všetko sa teraz crowdsourcuje. http://ow.ly/pcLL308So5i

“I came here to say that I do not recognize anyone’s right to one minute of my life. Nor to any part of my energy. Nor to any achievement of mine. No matter who makes the claim, how large their number or how great their need. I wished to come here and say that I am a man who does not exist for others. It had to be said. The world is perishing from an orgy of self-sacrificing." - Ayn Rand, The Fountainhead

Today is the anniversary of 105's birthday of Alan Turing. For us computer enthusiasts, he is something like Newton for anyone who likes physics. The level of his abstract thinking eludes me, but you've all seen the movie about Enigma, etc. What not many people know is that he got more into "philosophy" about light-cones, the idea that most of the universe is not explorable, subject to the limits of the speed of light. "Their events" do not affect us in any way, they are just too far. After his dosage of some shitty hormones to "cure him of homosexuality" (that's how the british government said "thank you" for helping them kick some nazis in the ass), he started writing postcards about these ideas. Listen to him, to expand your own light-cone. Music: Matmos, Voice: David Tibet. http://ow.ly/sDLj30a2Rj0

Some wisdom from Alexa http://ow.ly/SrNo30cbyct . Notes/quotes:

- it does not matter if you live in monogamous, open or polyamorous relationship, your relationship is doomed to fail if you do not communicate properly. (side note: with open/poly, if you don't communicate properly, it falls apart sooner, so working open/poly relationships have this nice selection bias for communication).

- for some strange reason people who live in a monogamous relationship determine if it is successful by the length of time. (my note: if you spend 30 years of dull marriage, it is considered more successful than 5 years of happy marriage. Why? Maybe because it's easier to measure length of a relationship than happiness, it is even easier to compare. But you are not comparing the same thing, every relationship is different)

- there isn't "the one" (my note: This is also important for monogamous relationships, because the idea of "the one" gives you a free pass. I don't need to be the best for my partner, I am "already the one". No, you are not. If you change or the other person changes and you are not fit for the other, the love will stop. I think this is the same problem as the idea of "unconditional love". There's no such thing as unconditional love, you love someone because of who they are, because of their virtues, how they look, what they do, what kind of person they are. That "because" is a very definition of conditional love, that's the condition. The idea of "the one" says "looking at the condition is unnecessary, I found the one". Bullshit, the condition is still there. If the condition is that you are a nice person, you look good and you start drinking beer and you get rude, the condition is not satisfied. Bye, bye, partner).

- The don't ask don't tell policy (Note: could work pretty well according to this (which is awesome): http://bit.ly/2rb2JM5 ). Good communication does not have to imply you need to tell the other person everything.

Someone approached Ayn Rand at her farewell party, she says, and told her, “If they ask you, in America—tell them that Russia is a huge cemetery and that we are all dying slowly.” “I’ll tell them,” Rand remembers promising.

Another nice fintech company, not blockchain this time - allowing cheaper transfers, especially between currencies. We used it to pay for our villa in Bali. http://ow.ly/1tJy30bMBAL

Ak vás zaujíma sloboda, bitcoin, biohacking, bezpečnosť a iné témy, ktorým sa venujem, vytvoril som playlist s mojimi slovenskými prednáškami. Pomaly z toho môžem robiť univerzitný kurz s témou "Jurajoviny" :). Užite si, dúfam, že vám to niečo dá. http://ow.ly/Irvl30bfqAw
