A major study undertaken by the manufacturer's organisation EEF and Santander has noted that investment by South East manufacturers has seen a reality check in response to the continued political uncertainty. The Annual Investment Monitor reveals that while demand conditions should be spurring on investment, just one third of companies say that Brexit has had no impact on their plans. The Q3 2017 RICS UK commercial property market survey has revealed that both investor and occupier demand for industrial units picked up during Q3 in the South East’s commercial sector, with 18% more respondents seeing an increase in investment enquiries.
