A company called Not Impossible Labs has come up with one of the best uses for 3D printer technology we’ve ever heard of: printing low-cost prosthetic arms for people, mainly children, who have lost limbs in the war-torn country of Sudan.

Human settlement of Mars is literally the next giant leap for mankind. It represents a chance to establish a new home for humanity outside the cradle of the Earth. A foundation called Mars One plans to make it happen by 2024. The plan isn't to bring crews back from Mars however. Instead, they’d make their home on the Red Planet and blaze a trail for permanent settlement. This will all be filmed in the most elaborate reality TV show of all time.
