Luke! Whatsup, welcome to G+!
It's funny, when I was reading the beginning of that article, I thought of our times at the townhouse at State, and how I blew my money, was bailed out of rent issues, and eventually repaid. It sounded a little too familiar... :)

I didn't either, but when I think about it, this is exactly what I used to do on my bicycle when I was seven... except way less epically.

Love this game :)
Minecraft is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine. At night monsters come out, make sure to build a shelter before that happens.

I wasn't expecting excellent, high quality Italian food in the middle of Wahiawa, but this place has become one of our favorite places to eat dinner. The restaurant is quiet and well appointed, and although parking is limited, we've never had trouble getting in.

Fabulous, authentic dim sum and traditional Chinese dishes. Excellent quality food, great environment, and worth every cent. Five minutes away from Arundel Mills, if you don't want mall food!

I love this coffee shop. They've got an amazing selection of coffees and beans for sale, their hot and iced teas are always interesting, and it's always quiet and clean. I come for the beverages, but they also prepare and serve food. I've not tried a meal, here, although their baked goods, while somewhat limited in selection, have all been quite tasty. All in all, a great shop with delicious, fresh coffee.

I love the chicken here! My go-to meal is a half chicken with a side of plantains and roasted vegetables -- it hits all the macronutrient goals and tastes incredible. Also of note is the Lomo Saltado -- strips of beef with large chunks of onions, tomatoes, and peppers, all on a bed of rice and steakhouse style french fries -- carb overload, but it's amazingly tasty, and goes great with the horchata they serve inside. The family meal runs about $40, but feeds a family of five with no problems -- they occasionally run a special with two whole chickens in the family meal instead of one. Their drive-through is a bit slow, as this is not fast-food, but I've never waited more than 5-10 minutes to get to the window. All in all, this restaurant is amazing -- the food is delicious and not terribly expensive, and the restaurant is conveniently located, with plenty of parking. Consider driving five minutes and coming here instead of wasting a meal at one of the McRestaurants around Arundel Mills!

I come here for the pot stickers, which are awesome. Everything else I've tried on the menu is somewhat low quality "American Chinese food", with thick, syrupy, cornstarch-y sauces and "meh" to "blech" taste. There are two tables here, with a total of four seats, and parking is very inconvenient, requiring you to back into a busy intersection to leave.

These guys are awesome. I've never gotten a bad meal from this place. The daily lunch special is always delicious, and the quality of ingredients and preparation is very good. There is almost always a line out the door right at lunchtime, which speaks to the quality of the place, but if you want to avoid the rush, I'd recommend arriving for lunch around 11:00 or after 12:45. If you're able to make it for breakfast, typical morning fare is greasy spoon/galley-style: fried or scrambled eggs, bagels, hash-browns, toast, along with some non-typical (and large!) burritos and southwestern-style goodness. The coffee pot is always on. Seating is a bit crowded, but there is outdoor seating on nice days. Expect to spend about $10 per meal, but not regret the price tag, for this awesome, local deli.
