"...some of us had long thought that listening to other people’s reasons for moving was about as boring as listening to other people recount their dreams, and only marginally more interesting than listening to other people’s drug stories." <--- HAHA take note, dreamers and druggies! STFU! Lol

It Might Never Happen
“Cheer up love!” “Give us a smile!” We’ve heard them all. We’ve also heard the moaning about it all, we’ve heard about the comebacks , so I’m not going to repeat it here. What I am going to do, is share a little continued experiment I’ve been doing and its ...

The Party
Birthday party of the alternative 80s night at a central club in town. A club with signage bathing the entire street in an enticing (or threatening, depending on your state of inebriation) red glow. I was working the door. Which doesn’t mean being a bouncer...

The Gift
19, clumsy and shy. Yet surprisingly, I’d gained a boyfriend. During one rare moment of impulsion, I pounced when I spotted him in HMV flipping through Pixies CDs, declaring I recognised him from seminars. Fast forward two years, and we’re on a shopping tri...

Tattooist didn't carry out my design to instruction and refused to give me a refund when I pointed out that what was inked on me was not what I had specified. Very poor customer service, bad attitude when I was trying to politely point out the mistake and would not even negotiate a partial refund when I suggested it. Gentleman who had booked my appointment understood what I wanted but failed to communicate this to the artist who ended up doing the inking. When I attended my appointment they didn't seem sure of what I wanted or where I wanted it, despite having explained all this when I booked the appointment a week beforehand. Bad levels of hygiene too with people eating in the tattooing area, knocking into the chair as they were doing so. Enter at your own risk. Make sure that they know what it is you want. I wasn't trying to dispute the artist's knowledge and experience (as was implied by the lady in question), merely asking for a refund as that's what businesses are supposed to do when they haven't met standards required. This reasonable request was met with derision and aggression.
