+Emma Hiley I found a seller on eBay doing them at all lengths. Ribbon is slippery, I sometimes feel like I'm about to fall backwards when sitting down to tie them XD

If you enjoy Alice in Wonderland, graphic novels, and, errr...Sunderland, then I highly recommend this!

I don't suppose you ever played the American McGee games for Alice? If you did, would you say they are similar in style or at least theme for this graphic novel?

I'm not super pro-tattoo or anti-tattoo.  I've debated getting one in the past but never that seriously.  But my mother is vehemently anti-tattoo.  Listed below are the reasons my mother has always...

FYI, favouriting EVERY tweet I make for weeks and begging me to follow you back, followed by an immediate unfollow on receipt of my polite decline, is not the way to make Twitter-friends. #netiquette

"There is this ideology of ‘Oh, isn’t it wonderful having these shops in our towns, it makes us look so cultured’. But people still shop on Amazon."
The number of independent bookshops in the UK has fallen to just 987, with Surrey's oldest bookshop the latest victim

It all comes down to convenience vs urgency.
For example, I do a lot of electronics and if I need something urgently, I go to Maplin and get charged a fortune for something cheap. But if I am planning ahead and am in no real rush, I order online and save money.

The same applies for books to me. If I need them now (buying as a gift, or going away on holiday and need something to read), I buy it from the store (and pray they have it in stock, which more often than not, they do not). Otherwise, again, I order online and save some money.

LOOKING different cost student Sophie Lancaster her life. But her mother is determined that some good should come out of the tragedy, as Giulia Rhodes reports

I remember when that happened, like any hate crime, such a waste of life and potential. Just the other day, it was on an episode of Killer Kids, and I'm not the most emotional person, but it brought me to tears. I guess it really resonates, and makes me feel lucky that friends who have been jumped before at least only had some cuts and bruises. It's good to see her mom using it to do something positive.

I saw James Adatia for osteopathy to tackle the tension caused by 3+ yrs of suffering with sciatica on my left hand side. He made me feel at ease and gave excellent advice. I highly recommended Natural Balance Therapies.

Tattooist didn't carry out my design to instruction and refused to give me a refund when I pointed out that what was inked on me was not what I had specified. Very poor customer service, bad attitude when I was trying to politely point out the mistake and would not even negotiate a partial refund when I suggested it. Gentleman who had booked my appointment understood what I wanted but failed to communicate this to the artist who ended up doing the inking. When I attended my appointment they didn't seem sure of what I wanted or where I wanted it, despite having explained all this when I booked the appointment a week beforehand. Bad levels of hygiene too with people eating in the tattooing area, knocking into the chair as they were doing so. Enter at your own risk. Make sure that they know what it is you want. I wasn't trying to dispute the artist's knowledge and experience (as was implied by the lady in question), merely asking for a refund as that's what businesses are supposed to do when they haven't met standards required. This reasonable request was met with derision and aggression.
