Try their wings, they are not fried but smoked, juicy!!! We were very happy with their bbq choices too, just didn't expect the wings to be that great. Cole slaw with blue cheese - another unsuspected favorite. This place is going to cover your group`s preferences, everybody will have something to love.

The food is really good but also really pricey for what it is. I had the Debris poboy and a glass of tea and the bill was $16. Last trip my wife and I had a smoked turkey sandwich, chips, a salad and 2 cokes for $28. Like I said, good food and friendly staff but pricey for what it is.

I'm always on the lookout for great bbq. I'm picky. I had a granddaddy who set the bar pretty high. Elwood's met and exceeded my expectations with the dry ribs. I was not a fan of their bbq sauce however, too sweet for me.

Great sandwiches and tacos. Expect to wait in line. The decor is not fancy.

The food was ok but WAY over priced . One debris sandwich , one order of nacho's and 2 cokes $31.35. My thoughts on Elwood's Shack , the debris sandwich was ok , not sure how it's the best sandwich in Memphis??If you like spending a lot of money for food that is not that great then Elwood's Shack is the place to go. I will not go back nor would I recommend it to anyone either.

Had brisket with cole slaw. The meat was so tender, and the sauce was delicious. The jalapeño and blue cheese cole slaw was great, and washed it all down with some sweet tea. Must visit for some quick bbq

Daaaang they throw it down. Had breakfast here it was like my dad made it. Fed the fellas. Pulled pork, chicken, brisket and Bologna sandwich for me. Not into the spicy coleslaw but it's got something going there. The reg coleslaw is awesome and they are soo friendly. Tip top tip

It's definitely a hole in the wall and it's definitely one of the best holes in the wall in Memphis. If someone tells you what the best thing on the menu is, don't listen to them. It's ALL good.
