I dunno, this doesn't sound that different. I doubt we're talking about a distribution deal only.

I don't want to get into the whole Whole Foods deal, everybody's got an opinion about the place. But, OMG, this is certainly the best salad bar I've ever been too, anywhere. Like better than back when Souper Salads was good, and that's really good. I don't care what kind of salad you like...GO!

Man, I love this place. I've been gone from Austin for about 15 yrs and it was great to see that this place has not really slipped. I got the chopped beef because I love chopped beef and Anrdew Bell's Collard Greens which were outstanding, flavored with plenty of BBQ scraps. My wife loved her 2 meat plate with an extra sausage link, loved her creamy coleslaw, and loved the collard greens. One of my favorite dining atmospheres in Austin, and an entirely pleasant staff of hipsters, I don't know how they pull that off.

Start with the good: Great exam, nice doctor, I paid a little more to have her go over detailed imaging of my eyes, because in the past I have had some troubling diagnoses. Well worth the extra fee for the peace of mind. However, the all-too-typical bait and switch occurred on the prescription, where they don't give you the PD (pupillary distance) needed for proper frame fit. They "only do that when you buy glasses" Well, the glasses they showed me were about $800. You will run into this plenty of places, although some try to charge you a nonsensical fee. This is because with that information, you can purchase glasses elsewhere without an exam. I understand they want to sell glasses to people, but I don't really see the point to a prescription that isn't complete enough to let me buy glasses. The office is under-staffed It was closed a few days before for "staff education" and when I came in to pick up my prescription (didn't receive it at the completin of the initial visit), it was a ten-minute wait only to leave without the necessary information. I'm pretty frosty about that, because I forked over good money for this prescription. Is it my problem that they have outrageous prices for glasses? I wouldn't have thought so but Aspire Vision Care made that my problem with their poor service.
