El dia de la Lengua Española assembly - On 16th October, students and staff of the Spanish Department gathered for the annual El día de la Lengua Española assembly. All pupils studying Spanish from Years 7 to 11 were involved. They presented several sketches, dances and songs depicting the first day of Spanish class and a birthday party. 6th annual MUN - Campion School’s 6th annual session of the MUN was held on 6th-7th October and was, as ever year, an extremely successful event. 500 students from 22 schools, both local and from abroad, gathered together to engage in discussions of global significance. Athens flying week - On Friday 21st September 10 pupils from Year 12, along with Mrs Andrianaki and Mrs Rigopoulou, went to Tanagra airport to spend the afternoon together with the athletes of Special Olympics Hellas. Both groups had the opportunity not only to observe the final rehearsal of the international flying show, which would be held on the weekend of 22nd and 23rd September, but to also discuss and exchange ideas with each other on various matters. Epidauros Triathlon - The past weekend's Year 12 CAS excursion to the Peloponnese for the Epidauros Triathlon saw three Campion students return home as winners! On Saturday 15th September, Year 12 volunteers participated in a 300m swimming race prior to assisting in Sunday's event and took threee medals! Winning medals for their age group were: Filippo Valasakis, Eva Papadimitriou, and Aliki Vlachopoulou.   Well done and a great start to the year!

Spetses Marathon - Campion once again had a great turnout at the annual Spetses mini-marathon which this year was held on 6th-7th October. The school was represented by pupils, accompanying staff and Campion's board chairman, Jeremy Downward, who was greatly impressed with Campion's results: 'Congratulations, great results! Nine out of the first 40 male runners were from Campion. Outstanding! And three girls in the first 30! Campion dominates and is still clearly the school to beat.' Well d...

El Dia de la Hispanidad - Dear Parents, Every year pupils learning Spanish celebrate the day of the Spanish language by organising an assembly called El Dia de la Lengua Española also known as El Dia de la Hispanidad. During this celebration the pupils present projects, sketches with dialogues, songs, dances, etc that have to do with the Hispanic world.
