The idea that people can't even contemplate (or abide for that matter) the notion of a world without money is terrifying to me; this is just one manifestation of an infinite amount of possible realities; why the hell are humans so married to the this one cannibalistic version? Will the day ever come when humans won't do something because it's wrong and will do something if it's right? And don't come at me with any of that "well first we would have to decide what's right" crap because those headaches inevitably crop up because the majority of people have malfunctioning moral compasses; otherwise the issues would be much more simple.."are we causing destruction?" "are we causing pain and suffering?" "if we are sacrificing a life, is it to save another? (cause if the crime is not inversely proportional to the nobility of the ends, then it shouldn't even be considered; i.e. Murdering non-humans for the sake of fashion or industry is just WRONG! But if the death of one will spare many, then that is when the rules get fuzzy; it's not hypocritical, it's genetic prerogative, but that doesn't mean we don't have a responsibility to reign it in!). Until humans evolve the guts to start asking ourselves the uncomfortable questions, the ones we don't want answered, we will be cursed to continue our twisted existence as a pathetic, pestilent, morally pustulous, murderous, marauding species of demented hairless apes; the cousins that went batshit and fucked it up for the rest of the family. Humans are guests at a cornucopia, the like yet unmatched anywhere amongst the galaxies, and our response to this most singular honor was to jump up onto the table and shit on everyone else's fare, while simultaneously declaring ourselves separate and above the rest of the startled guests before wiping our collective ass with the tablecloth and clubbing a baby seal just for kicks. Humans are wrong.
