Back to the Bricks Car Show in Mount Pleasant.  There were many more vehicles than this.  These ones just peaked my interest.

The food, decor, and service here are all very good, but not good enough to warrant the high price. The attached Mountain Town Station is the better option.

Just like the name of the restaurant says, you are only going to be ordering hot dogs here as your main entree. But when you do one thing only, you can do it very well. There are a large number of different hot dog/topping combinations to choose from; there is everything from the typical mustard, ketchup and relish to fritos, macaroni & cheese, and pineapple. You can also substitute a veggie dog for the vienna hot dogs that are the standard here. You also have the option of having your dog deep-fried if it isn't already fattening enough for you. The veggie dogs are actually quite good and have become the dog of choice for me here.

I know there are some locals who would rate the food here higher than I did because they get excited about trying new things. The menu items here contains a lot of unusual ingredients, which I'm not as keen on all the time. Whenever I do try something different I'm usually disappointed, but my companion will rave about it. So you'll either love the food or hate it here. The decor has a lot of 19th century charm. Check out the ceiling fan in the main dining room! The wait staff here are very professional.

This is a typical coney island-type diner. The menu is huge with a lot of variety. The quality isn't outstanding, but it is an inexpensive place to eat any time of the day or night, and the wait staff is always friendly and attentive.

This is the place I bring out-of-town guests. It has local color, is interesting, and the food is really good. Wait staff here are very professional, the menu changes on a regular basis so it doesn't get boring, and the food is consistently top notch.

This is the oldest Mexican restaurant in Mount Pleasant and the least appealing of those currently in town. The restaurant is dark, though the decor is consistent throughout. The food seems to be just one step up from fast food Mexican and the service here can be inconsistent.
