I was looking through your let's play videos (though I did not watch them all up to this point) but I noticed from what I had scene you hadn't been taking full effect of your tinker's tools.

I've found that the way to gain the most resources out of a mining trip is by creating a hammer specifically for ores and putting auto-smelt and fortune on that hammer/pickaxe because you are able to get the fortune enchant to work on the auto smelted ores thereby gaining imense amounts of ingots

December 11, 2013

On December 9th, the new frame design (Frame_V3) was finished. This implemented a triangular strut design with modified platforms to fit the struts. New fasteners were also needed to attach the new struts. These snap-lock pins are much easier to work with and will hopefully be easier to print.
December 10th was spent modifying the new struts and platforms to reduce weight and volume of material. The outer end of the struts were modified for the motor mounts and blade guards that will be used for safety reasons. The platforms took on a hexagonal framework to reduce material, but also to maintain stability. We are still discussing changes to the battery platform, but the design is unlikely to change.
In addition to continued design of the frame, we are planning the next stage of the online portion of the project by searching for low cost web hosting. We would not be making our own site until after the first prototype is completed, but it is always good to plan ahead.
