Ordered the lobster roll & clam chowder. Lobster roll was delicious, albeit a little expensive at $26 in my opinion. The sides that came with the lobster roll were mediocre (see picture). On a nice day, sit on the patio outside and enjoy the cool sea breeze and the nice view. There are also wooden beach chairs on a patch of sand--perfect for enjoying those Happy Hour deals.

This place has good service and a great view but the food is nothing special. The chowder was very disappointing. They only had two options for chowder. I got the New England chowder and it was overloaded with leafy herbs and stems and was not thick at all. This cod fish I got was extremely bland and had no flavor at all. I tried to get the one dollar tuesday oyster deal, but they refused because it wasnt 4:00 yet. For a "chowder house" you do better with a $2 can of campbells clam chowder. • • •

Was really looking forward to having the 'famous' lobster roll. The chowder was pretty good, but the lobster roll was a huge disappointment. The meat didn't taste fresh, was overcooked and I wasn't 100℅ certain that it was all from a lobster.... Expensive and a long wait. We're likely to look around some more next time we are spending the day in Half Moon Bay.

This restaurant met and exceeded our expectations. We had the New England clam chowder, the prosciutto and peach frisse salad, and shrimp scampi linguine. Everything we had was amazing! Beautiful view and outside dining if you desire.

Super popular spot, so the lines are to be expected. This place needs like 5x more bathrooms. We went early on Sunday to beat the crowds and the restrooms were still packed. Weird. The chowder was good. Portions are huge. The bread came out cold. Pretty meh for a place with hour+ waits on Saturdays.

Yes it's touristy, and yes they charge touristy prices....but the food is still pretty good! Can't go wrong with the lobster roll or clam chowder. Cozy place with the nautical theme going. Great view of the Pacific. Friendly staff. Parking lot is small, so just grab a spot on Highway 1 and walk it. Super busy....either opt for an early or late lunch to avoid the crush of people.

Good, good crab. Incredible, multi-tier seating at outdoor deck overlooking the Pacific. And some of the best service I have ever experienced in the bay area. Always full and a little pricey, but worth it. Not worth it... the cheesecake. Skip the extra calories.
