All-and-all together this restaurant is great, just a few things could be adjusted: Fish n' chips 3/5: the fish from the fish n' chips were too fatty and oily with no flavor while the chips/French fries were too dry and stale. New England Clam chowder 5/5: the clam chowder was very good, it had fresh ingredients and the soup was just the right temperature, I would get the 'cup' unless you are sharing the 'bowl'. The lobster roll 2/5: it was bland and below your expectations, it was just lobster pieces on a dry flavorless hot dog bun, there are potato chips on the side but they were very fatty and tasted like dirt, but the coleslaw was good and very refreshing. The blood orange cocktail 5/5: it was very refreshing to get a freshly pressed juice with alcohol in it, tasted very well. Calamari 5/5: the calamari was good, the bread crumbled a little but it didn't matter. It comes with a ranch dressing and a cocktail sauce, I would definitely recommend this as a appetizer.

Clam Chowder is amazing. Lobster roll delicious but nothing ground breaking. The chips are too salty. Sit outside as there's amazing views.

I've only been here one time but I will probably go again. It was pretty crowded and we had to wait about 20 minutes, but it was during the pumpkin festival and I heard that's the busiest day of the year. We had a dog with us so we sat on the back patio with a lovely view of the ocean and the marina. I really enjoyed the clam chowder and everyone in our party had favorable things to say about their meals. I wasn't a big fan of the lobster roll as others are. Mine was pretty dry and not worth the price. My husband was very happy with the fish and chips and my son loved the cioppino. The portions are huge. Prices are a bit high but not more than you would expect for seafood next to the ocean.

We had a fabulous dinner at Sam's thoroughly enjoying the cioppino and seafood risotto, both were outstanding! The ambiance is lovely but the highlight of our evening was our incredible server, Tima! She made the experience for us, what a lady!

The oyster shooter was outstanding. The view is absolutely amazing. The clam chowder was good but lacking in the clam department. The gumbo left something to be desired but the seafood ceviche was really good. All in all it was a pleasant experience!

Seriously did not get the hype for this place. Came here on a Friday night and saw the scene of a full parking lot. I thought that this place must be great with all the customers but I was wrong. I ordered food to go and everything tastes flavorless and disappointing. The lobster meat in the lobster roll was dry, the roll was dry and not buttery at all. The baby back ribs has no flavor regardless of the look of it being drenched with BBQ sauce. Clam chowder was only okay and the seafood paella seemed a little too moist. Good thing I tipped the girl $5 to pack my food so she gave me about 20 packets of ketchup for no reason and a lot of utensil sets.

Great chowder (if it's in your name it had better be good!)! Also their lobster rolls are pretty good. Great place to watch a sunset....

Our whole family loved it. My father in law hates calamari but he liked it for the first time ever at Sams. The waitress was patient with us, the food was high quality, the prices were good for the amount of food, amd the view/location unforgettable.
