Did you know... the first Google doodle appeared on August 30, 1998 to commemorate Sergey Brin and Larry Page's attendance at the Burning Man festival? It was an out-of-office message of sorts, as no one would be around to answer the phone while the founders camped out in the desert.

Excited to see what +Sundar Pichai has in store for Google search & advertising platforms. Maybe we will see more of the Google services being integrated / focused rather than segmented now...

Got two new tires and had a headlight out so asked them to do that too. Big mistake. Tires were pretty good value and service was OK (took longer than estimated but whatever). However, headlight cost was $13.99 plus tax and service to change the headlight was $48.00 plus tax, so the total for ONE HEADLIGHT replacement was about $70!!! I guess I learned my lesson to do it myself or get a friend to do it for about $3 instead of $70.

Had a delicious BLTA that came with a small side salad and a few olives. Great location next to a park with 2 hour street parking, however there is no wifi.

The arepa was delicious, and staff were super friendly and sweet. Free (and open) wifi and clean bathrooms make this a great midday work spot. No laptops allowed on the weekends, though.
