Okay noodles, after a week hiatus while I was back east visiting family, Table for Ten returns with more spice than ever! This week we're hittin' the road and featuring a guest chef, the very lovely and talented +Patrice Speed. After so many people in our last Table for Ten expressed interest in her exploration of the Paleo diet, we decided to feature a Paleo dinner for you all! (See her previous post on it here: http://tinyurl.com/paleo-diet-post) She'll be cooking up almond crusted stuffed chicken breast with Paleo "rice" (mashed cauliflower).* For vegetarians like me, don't fear! A veg option is also available. If you popped in at all in our last Table for Ten and got the tour of Patrice's gorgeous home and a look at her adorable pup, you're sure to know what fun this will be.

Not only that, but the very face of Google+ herself, the charming +Natalie Villalobos, will be gracing us with her lovely self, as will fellow Googler +Timothy Jordan and of course, +Rob Grega. What a guest list we have! Quite the dinner party.

As always, we'll post the ingredient list on Friday so you can get your goodies all sorted ahead of time.

Very much looking forward to this. If you're interested in joining us, please leave a note to let us know. We will start cooking at 5PM PST, Saturday, August 13th, 2011. Also, important: If you're reading this through a share, please click to my original post and respond with your RSVP directly in the original post's thread so I can keep track of who wants to hop in. The Hangout link will be open on my profile for as long as we're cooking, eating, and otherwise enjoying each other's company. If there is enough demand, we can open simultaneous hangouts to increase the number of people that can join in on the fun.

Also, please don't hesitate to repost to your stream, since this is a public Hangout and we believe the more the merrier!

(Hi! First time? If you're wondering, "What the heck is this?!", see below!

What is Table for Ten?

Google+'s Hangout feature allows up to ten people to video chat together at any given time. After thinking a lot about all of the creative ways the Hangout feature can be utilized, I decided that +Rob Grega and I should have a the first ever, regularly-scheduled public cooking Hangout with you all! (And by Rob and I cooking, I mean Rob cooking. I will be playing the role of charming hostess with Sauvignon Blanc in hand. I'll also be keeping things exciting with intermittent Foodie trivia throughout the Hangout.)

I really like the idea of cooking together, then sharing the meal as a social experience afterward. The current model of cooking shows is too outdated, I think, and it's time we evolve it. The Hangout feature means we get to cook with you, answer questions in real-time, and then enjoy in the fruits of our labors together at a table for ten.)
