Okay. The place is not hell. But it's not good. The leasing manager does sell you on a dream though. Even being in the newly renovated units has it;s ups and downs. It looks lovely, new floors, new kitchen and new kitchens appliances. It's a nice block, a great location by tons of transportation. However, it does straddle Mt. Airy and Germantown, so if you are not ready for that type of neighborhood, then maybe not for you. Rundown, old building yes. Roaches, yes (tree roaches). Uneven floors, odd plumbing (tub/shower), thin walls, gross laundry. The mentally disabled residents are not violent, though! (if you are not able to handle persons with these disabilities, maybe not for you). In a pinch, this place is liveable. However, it is NOT luxury.

This place is a dump! Loud neighbors, mice infested, mentally unstable people are NOT luxury. The laundry room is also disgusting and creepy. TOO much money for what you get!

I moved in a few months ago, and I have had the following problems: 1) leaking ceiling 2) ceiling caved in 3) leaking AC unit 4)bath tub does not work, can only shower 5) heater smells like moldy chicken soup 6) heat is not on yet, and it's 40 degrees out 7) EVERY single washing machine in the laundry room is broken... the laundry room itself is a disgusting dungeon that is creepy with dead bugs everywhere. It is affordable and looks nice, but is not worth the annoyance and inconvenience of living in a building that is falling apart.
