Sometimes you just need to correct the perspective.
My dad forwards me cheezy jokes all the time and I typically glance through them. This one made me smile on my foggy commute today.

Can my dog stay in my hotel room with me???

A man wrote a letter to a small hotel in a Midwest town he planned to visit on his vacation.

He wrote: I would very much like to bring my dog with me.

He is well-groomed and very well behaved.

Would you be willing to permit me to keep him in my room with me at night?"

An immediate reply came from the hotel owner, who wrote:

SIR: "I've been operating this hotel for many years. In all that time, I've never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes, silverware or pictures off the walls.

I've never had to evict a dog in the middle of the night for being drunk and disorderly.

And I've never had a dog run out on a hotel bill. Yes, indeed, your dog is welcome at my hotel.

And, if your dog will vouch for you, you're welcome to stay here, too."

My friend showed me this today so I came online to learn about it.  Not much info but this is pretty cool.

I've noticed recently that my posts on Google+ receive feedback indicating that the platform is being used.  That was my experience and now there are some numbers to back it up - According to Vic Gundotra G+ has over 400 million users.
Welcome Nik Software!

Today I’m excited to welcome +Nik Software to the Google family! We want to help our users create photos they absolutely love, and in our experience Nik does this better than anyone. Check out the examples from some of the world’s greatest photographers, and you’ll see what I mean.

This week we also hit an important milestone--over 400,000,000 people have upgraded to Google+. It was only a year ago that we opened public sign-up, and we couldn’t have imagined that so many people would join in just 12 months. While Google+ is all about creating a better experience across Google, it’s also a destination. And here too, I’m happy to report that we have just crossed 100,000,000 monthly active users on Google+ ( and mobile app).

Munzees and LPCs provide the same return for the effort, for me; except Munzees cost data time. I have gotten to enjoy working for quality Finds, and actually finding something. You can't bet the thrill of discovering a carefully planned geocache with a unique well crafted container.

Nothing is either good or bad but thinking makes it so.
Curious about many things not the least of which is how to reduce friction in my life.

If I'm outside I'd like to be geocaching but that's not always possible.

Stopped in with a couple of buddies to check out the venue for a future group event. The menu had some eclectic choices and some typical bar grub. I went with a vegetarian egg noodle dish and it was delicious. Healthy portions and a great meal.

I needed a part for an old dishwasher. I called was told they'd check to see if they had the part in stock. I received a call back that they did have the part. It cost me 25% of what a retail part would have cost. Price as right and service was good.
