+Grey Wiz did some fantastic monster pictures to go with some of the notes on them I had, so I felt a preview was in order.

I suppose I can do one introduction thread in my life, and I could use a public post so heeey.

I generally write about RPGs and Anime-Styled nonsense. Old School D&D is my mainstay but I do branch out.

I have a blog that I've been neglecting so I can write a game called Break!! that I also don't shut up about, so there's your free warning.

+Shoe Skogen is currently doing commissions and such, you should really check it out; she's really quite good.

Below is a picture she did for me. See! Great stuff, right?

My Christmas haul was mainly clothes and coffee ( Which I don't think anyone here is too interested in, but hey) but I got I got the Japanese RPG "Night Wizard" from the lovely wife (I hear she got help from a certain innocuous monster) and some original edition Warhammer books from one Scrappy Princess (I paid for shipping, but not the actual stuff)

I've glossed through both and I'm already finding stuff to steal. I'll probably yammer on about em' more at some point.

Oh yeah, happy holidays, I guess

This is my random discovery of the day and I think its pretty awesome.

Fair warning; in spite of the cartoon-ish art its actually pretty violent and (potentially) creepy if you're not super desensitized like I am.

One of my favorite things in my small collection is a hardcover copy of the Song of Roland printed in 1938 and given to me by +Tiffany Simmons . Its a gorgeous book with some wonderfully simple art in it - I figured it would be of some interest to people in my Google + circles.

Hey, softwarey people - are there any specfic terms for outdated/obsolete programs?

I may or may not need this for a creative enterprise/D&Dish monster so stuff that sounds scary or tragic would be awesome.

I thumbed through the Thongor books last night on a whim; inside I saw a rough map with miniature buildings drawn by the author himself, choppy writing, a shamelessly deriviative plot and cast of characters with laughably bad fantasy names - and now I've developed a sudden sense of spiritual kinship with Lin Carter as a result.
