The saké will be available for sampling this Saturday (the 18th) in our tasting room in San Marcos!
Hold the presses! April 12, 2015. We have (finally!) pressed the pilot batch of saké. The cloudy sake you see in the picture blow will slowly turn clear over the next week as it settles in our cold room. You can come to our saké tasting room on Saturday (the 18th) to give it a try!

Kuracali will be changing its tasting room hours... We're going to be open Thursday-Friday-Saturday from now on. Ilija will be slinging the pints on Friday and the proprietor (that's me) will be serving up the beer on Thursday and Saturday.

I spent my weekend building this... and steaming rice for the saké.
New Taps. March 9, 2015. The little refrigerator has served us well but soon we will have more than two beers on tap. Time to upgrade! Tagged with: Categorised as: Uncategorized. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Your email address will not be published. Required fields are marked *. Name *. Email * ...

Today we brewed a beer! Anecdotalist Amber will soon join our Mellow Brown in the tasting room. This beer, unlike the brown, is on the list we sent to the ABC for keg and growler approval so you will be able to take it home and also find it at some select other locations around town.
Satisfaction is… February 2, 2015. pumping freshly brewed wort into a fermenter. Say hello to a brand new batch of the Anecdotalist Amber Ale which will show up in our tasting room in about two weeks. This beer is on our ABC approved list for growlers and kegs!

Our first commercial sake was born in a bucket (a very clean bucket though.)

Now I will stop saying "You can have any beer you like so long as it is brown."

This weekend we finished the walk in cooler. Now we can empty the fermenters and brew more beer!
