Clouds have buckets but also need baskets
Sometimes supposedly simple things can be slightly tricky. This story relates to a data sharing exercise for the cloud workshop last year. Alice wants to share 150 GB file with Bob, too large to send by email, too large even to share through "free" cloud st...

(Disclaimer: yours truly provided a tiny bit of science input in the early days, and with Geoff White from Channel4 answered questions from the audience after the show)

Increasing cloud uptake - a good thing? panel at #CloudScape2016 - uptake via high level drivers (strategy, tenders, working with CSPs - Dekker) with lower level enablers - (market) fairness, trust, reliability, security, social factors (Woodley). Change model - evolutionary maturing of services followed by innovative added-value (Wardley). Cloud services mature with time.
