Don't put away dirty #Ugg boots! If your pair got a bit dirty over the winter, they're possible to clean at home http://ow.ly/vPK7p

If clothing comes back from the cleaners smelling like chemicals... find a new cleaner. That’s a sign of impure cleaning solvents (gross!)

Ever wonder about the thread count of cloth? It’s the ends and picks per inch of a woven fabric. #textiletips

We have been using Meurice for years to clean suits and delicate or unique designer pieces. I would never take these items anywhere else, and they always do an excellent job. If there is something extra they think needs or could be done they always call to ask if I want this before going forward with it. All of this seem minor compared to our most recent experience with Meurice. We had a cocktail party at our home recently, and one of the guests spilled a full glass of red wine on our light grey cashmere sofa. I thought it was done for. I emailed Meurice, they picked it up quickly and within a couple days they sent me photos of the finished product... It is perfect. It looks as good as it did the day we bought it, and they saved us thousands of dollars replacing it. We could not be more impressed or happy.

I was referred to Meurice by a good friend of mine after I had an unsightly wine stain on the bottom of one of my favorite dresses. I took my friends advice and went to Meurice for the job. May I say that the professionalism on Meurice's end was superb throughout the entire process. I want to personally than Jean for all her help on answering every question I had and giving me updates on the status of my dress whenever I asked. Most importantly when I got the dress back (approximately one week later) the dress looked fantastic!

I have only the best things to say about Meurice Garment Care. They did a fantastic job cleaning and preserving my wedding dress. From start to finish, the customer service was excellent. I really felt like I could trust them completely not only with my dress, but to do the best job possible. I received my dress back good as new. I highly recommend these guys- they are extremely knowledgable and care about doing the best possible job.

I brought my wedding dress here for cleaning before I pack it away and I’ve looked for places that specialize in gown cleaning – I would have hated to go with a place that might make a mistake with something this important. My sister actually recommended here – Meurice actually did the cleaning for a couple black-tie affair formal gowns of hers. She said she wouldn’t dream of using anyone else and after coming here, I can see why. They took a little longer than some of the other places in town, but I know that’s because they were doing a more thorough job and it shows. My wedding dress looks like new, they even got out thick grime at the hemline. After seeing what incredible work they did preserving my wedding gown, I had them clean a couple of my handbags – one of which is a vintage Chanel and they really made them look like new again. Very glad to have found Meurice.

This is the WORSE dry cleaner in the city. I have had several instances where I have had problems with this dry cleaners. Several years ago, I brought in a vintage pucci dress. And there was some wear under the arm. I asked them to sew up the hole. Instead of doing so, they cut out the underarm material and put in a flannel pink material -- ruining a beautiful vintage PUCCI dress. In another instance, I won a case against them in small claims and supreme court for ruining a sweater which they then tried to keep and not return to me. I had to seek injunctive relief from the Supreme Court to get the sweater returned to me. Most recently, they charged my credit card without authorization for $327. AVOID this place like the Plague!!!
