That's pretty bold to call NIST/CODATA good to only about 4 decimal places... It's true. Lucky if they have 3 decimal places correct. It all has to do with setting a reference. Like 1H @ 0°K, isolated. And treating the problem according to theory more completely.

When you're looking for a needle in a haystack, like the Higgs Boson effort, you don't want to be sloppy in your math. This is the reason why the proton radius problem is still a puzzle to the mainstream physicists - they are very sloppy in their math.

Since the kilogram is being redefined in term of Planck's constant, and this work iterates precisely the value of Planck's constant as well as all the other important constants, this work is invaluable for setting the constants precisely AND fairly.
