Bring it to BArilla.
No wonder why there's so many mass killings. Our culture breeds a false sense entitlement and utter disrespect for others (unless you're a gun toting fetus)

It just shocks me that THIS was a important enough issue for a corporate company to speak out about... How about the poisoning of our food supply or even the fact that half of American children go to bed hungry

Karel Čapek coined the word robot from slavic word for worker or peasant. Robots in science fiction solve problems for humans. They accomplish tasks. The robot sex industry is projected as being a billion dollar market sector. I believe that we are a great distance away from creating hard A.I. because the intricate system that a consciousness is attached to would require a simulation as big as our universe to create the astonishment and uncertainty that is necessary to truly think. The burden of proof is not on me because it is still speculative outside optimist futurism but posting equivalent Chinese Room experiments will not fly. Saying that we have taught a computer to play a game or accomplish a task will not fly. Remember robots in lore gain consciousness while serving humans. This narrative is a colonial apologist one in my opinion. Is hard A.I. ever possible? Is singularity inevitable? Will A.I. happen in our lifetime? Is it all Science Fiction? +Ian Schenck +David Cooper
