The last installment of the "Mozart's Name Day" series has been published: "Last Name Day: Requiem" is available at no charge at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mozartfma.lastnameday .
A mysterious client, a requiem mass which is a masterpiece of its genre, left unfinished because of the composer's death.
The Requiem was without any doubt the only possible choice for the last installment of “Mozart's Name Day” series of Halloween stories.
Therefore, if you want to discover why being seated in front of someone tapping fingers following the rhythm of Mozart's last composition can be described as a terrifying experience, just go on with the reading.
Always remember that, if you will not like this story, it's only my fault, especially with reference to used open-source software, free online resources, creative commons images and soundfonts, all credited at the end: any flaw is attributable solely to me.
Enjoy and thanks to all people who downloaded, evaluated and reviewed the previous stories.
Happy Halloween to everyone, happy name day to Mozart and happy birthday to me.

The third installment of the planned "Mozart's Name Day" series has been published: "Third Name Day: Syncopes" is available at no charge at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mozartfma.thirdnameday .
As said, Mozart made my life richer and this episode is my personal tribute to the “Amadeus” movie, which started it all many years ago: the run in the snow, the masquerade, the first movement of Symphony KV183 are all taken from the opening scene of the movie, even if I used those elements in a very different way.
A little explanation about the title: “syncopes” may refer to the musical effect heard in the first measures of Symphony KV183 but also to the loss of rational consciousness which you will read about at the beginning of the story.
As usual, if you will not like this story it's only my fault, especially with reference to used open-source software, free online resources, creative commons images and soundfonts, all credited at the end: any flaw is attributable solely to me.
Enjoy and thanks to all people who downloaded, evaluated and reviewed the previous stories.

Mozart's Name Day - Halloween stories for music lovers

First Name Day: Don Giovanni is now available on Google Play at no charge

Can horror stories be more than just entertainment?
Of course they can, therefore, inspired by the fact that I'm born on the 31st October and I am a Mozart fan, whose name day is celebrated on the very same date, I wrote a story where text, images and, above all, music are part of the experience.
It is available on Google Play here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mozartfma.firstnameday It's not a visual novel, there are no choices to make and no alternate endings: the only required action is touching the screen anywhere to proceed forward.
This the first story of a planned series of stand-alone short novels, which I will publish in the near future (always free of charge) if this one will be appreciated.
So now it's up to you: tell me what you think, give me suggestions, correct my English where needed (I'm from Italy).
This story is dedicated to the crew of "Tenebre" (http://www.facebook.com/tenebremagazine), an Italian horror magazine, whose passion inspired me and gave me the final push to write it (but if you will not like it, it's not their fault; obviously, this is also true with reference to used open-source software, free online resources, creative commons images and sounds, all credited at the end: any flaw is attributable solely to me).
Mozart made my life richer, may be it will be the same for you if you don't know his music yet.
The second name day, if it will ever be published, will be titled "Organ piece for a mechanical clock" ("Orgelstück für eine uhr" as Mozart himself wrote on his own catalogue).
Enjoy!

The fourth installment of the planned "Mozart's Name Day" series has been published: "Fourth Name Day: Diggi, Daggi" is available at no charge at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mozartfma.fourthnameday .
For this next-to-last story, we're going back to theater, to attend a magic show where nothing is what it seems (I know this is true for any magic show, but in this case it's more true than usual).
Always remember that, if you will not like this story, it's only my fault, especially with reference to used open-source software, free online resources, creative commons images and soundfonts, all credited at the end: any flaw is attributable solely to me.
The next and final story will be titled “Requiem” and it is scheduled to be released on... well, it's an easy guess.
Enjoy and thanks to all people who downloaded, evaluated and reviewed the previous stories.

The second installment of the planned "Mozart's Name Day" series has been published: "Second Name Day: Organ piece for a mechanical clock" is available at no charge at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mozartfma.secondnameday .
A special thank goes to John W. McCoy for his outstanding JEUX Pipe Organ SoundFont - http://www.realmac.info/jeux1.htm - which made possible to put into action the performance of Mozart's organ music which I had in my mind (but if you will not like it, any flaw is attributable solely to me, and the same is also true with reference to used open-source software, free online resources and creative commons images, all credited at the end).
Enjoy and thanks to all people who downloaded, evaluated and reviewed the previous story.

Huge Mozart fan, born on his name day (31st October), multimedia Halloween stories author
Introduction
I'm a Mozart fan from Italy, ghost and good old crime stories enthusiast.
I'm not a musician, but music has made my life richer: in my case, it all started with the well known Amadeus movie and, even if many other composers have written music as great, Mozart will always have a special place in my heart.
I'm always happy to contribute to the knowledge of his music but, not being a musician, I have to try different paths.
That's why I put into action an old dream of mine and wrote stories where text, images and, above all, music are all part of the experience, inspired by the fact that I'm born on Halloween and Mozart's name day is celebrated on the very same date, the 31st October.
Check the first story out here, it's free as other present and future projects are or will be.
