Story
Tagline
Avid traveler and bakery aficionado
Introduction

Even as a kid I had a passion for food and travel. Now, I regularly cross the globe to experience a destination restaurant and have been known to sniff out bakeries like a bloodhound. I spent five years working as a TV news reporter before deciding to make the jump to food and travel writing. You can see my work in the pages of Sunset, San Diego Magazine and Travel & Leisure, as well as on blog.virgin-atlantic.comthepointsguy.com and on my own website travelproper.com

Bragging rights
I've summited Kilimanjaro, and Mt. Whitney and have hiked the Inca Trail and the W in Patagonia.

Dublin's new Marker hotel is an urban oasis in the city.
The starkly modern Marker hotel in the docklands area is bringing a much different hotel experience to Dublin. Also known as “Silicon Docks” the area around Grand Canal Square is filled with old warehouses and mills that are slowly being repurposed and the neighborhood is home to the European ...

Soon San Diego will be overrun with celebs and adults dressed as super heros for Comic-Con. This is the conference's best kept secret.
Buttercream and superhero tights have never gone together as well as at San Diego’s The Donut Bar
