Take a look at the latest blog from Penny Alexander, our Big Break for Charity ambassador. She’s got some great tips on how charities involved in this month’s vote can drum-up support. And, remember, if you are one of the good causes in our vote then we would love to know what you are doing!

The vehicle tax disc will soon be a thing of the past!  From 1 November 2014 you can pay your vehicle excise duty online by Direct Debit and you can choose to pay annually, 6 monthly or monthly to spread the payments out.  Your tax payment is then held as a digital record meaning no more paper discs are required. And that also means no queuing in the Post Office or stressing out about missing the renewal date.

Our national Big Break campaign kicks-off tomorrow (1 Feb), with one lucky person set to win £12k and thousands raised for good causes. Last year we partnered with 90 organisations to raise £150,000 for charity! We’ll keep you updated with everything you need to know about the campaign over the coming weeks and how you can get involved.

Voting is now open for March’s Big Break for charity and we’ve already seen a great response, with over 2800 votes cast in the first four days. There are so many worthy causes in the running to win a share of £5k, but have you voted for your favourite yet?

As part of our national Big Break 2014 campaign not only will one lucky person win £12,000, but we’ll also be putting tens of thousands of pounds back into the community. And we want YOUR help! Do you know of a charity, or a good cause that deserves recognition for the fantastic work they do?

Nominations are now open and, each month between March and June, we’ll ask you to vote on which ones you’d like to receive a cash donation. The cause with the most votes will receive £2,000, the second £1,000, and the remaining £2,000 will be divided between the runners up.

Voting begins on 1 March, so make sure you nominate your favourite good cause today. All the info you’ll need can be found on our website.
