I love Seth Godin. His pithy posts are always spot on. Like this one.

Love this sort behind-the-scenes glimpses of masters at work. He's noted where he's been and who he's talked to and what he saw every day for decades. Wow!

Got some awesome news the other day: my novel Forgotten April is a finalist in the BookBundlz "Book Club Pick" contest. And guess what? You can help me win! To vote, all you need to do is register (it's free to do so!). You can vote once a day, too. Thanks in advance if you're able to stop by. :) http://www.bookbundlz.com/votingpage.aspx

Readers, what do you think of prologues in novels? Like them, don't like them? Necessary/unnecessary? I realize it might depend on the book and prologue, but what do you think about them in general? Discuss.

I think I agree with you, Shawn. I was having this conversation over on my FB page, and someone noted that it seems as if fewer new novels include them.

Hey, y'all! Do you like cheering on the underdog? Then consider giving my novel, Forgotten April, some loving! It's sitting in third place in the BookBundlz contest, and I know we can do better than that! (The winner is decided by the audience vote.) Help me out? Once you register (it's free and easy), you can vote once a day between now and 4/26. Here's the link: http://www.bookbundlz.com/votingpage.aspx Thanks in advance if you can...no worries if you can't. Oh, and happy reading! :)
