Fantastic brews and atmosphere. You feel the love for what they do here and it comes through in their incredible beers. I am coming back in 2014!

We drove down to DE from NY during the President's Day weekend and were pleasantly surprised by the smooth operation of the tasting room. The place was easy to find and had a huge parking lot. Their bocce ball court and very amusing "tree house" is a great photo op. (Wish more places held their working meetings in tree houses!) There were plenty of visitors while we were there but they were very comfortable waves of folks. We were able to sample 4 different types of beers on tap and shopped around for gifts. The sampling included their Ta Henket, Red & White, Palo Santo Marron, and Noble Rot. It was great leisurely hanging out here and chatting around their bar. Plus, it's an easy way to kill time before your next destination. Only wished I was able to get into one of their tours...apparently, those book up quite fast.

Obsessed. Simply, absolutely obsessed. I didn't know much about Dogfish Head until I was at a random beer garden in California and I got to try their Raison D'etre which made me think "oh wow, this brewery really knows what they're doing." Then, I found myself on the east coast about to drive from Virginia to Philly, so I figured that a pit stop in Delaware to visit what might be the best craft brew in the US was in order. They definitely lived up to my expectations, and quite frankly, blew them away. You get 4 free tastings of their beer when you get there. The lines to get the samples are kind of insane, but the beer really is THAT good, that I totally get it. My favorite beer that I got to try was the Chai brew - it has to be the most interesting beer that I have ever had. If you are looking for something boring, you will not like Dogfish Head, but if you want to try beer made by people who are not afraid to be a little different, you will LOVE this place. A note, tours fill up SUPER fast, so book online before you go! (at least a month out)

Great tour at a great brewery, very informative and entertaining. Excellent tasting afterwards. I then went to the Dogfish Head Brew Pub in Rehoboth Beach and had the Cask 75 Minute Ale which you can only get at the Brew Pub, also excellent.

Loved the beer, but the tours were booked until 2AM (yes, 2 AM!) so we skipped that and just sampled. Unfortunately, the best sample -- Namaste -- was not available for sale. I have found it locally (Firefly Farms Cheese Factory in Accident, MD -- also highly recommended).
