Skins has grown up, but so has I.
The British series Skins has had its ups and downs - but for the most part I've loved it. This week the 7th (and last?) season started and it is a bit different from the previous seasons. It is less youthful and wild, and it feels like the series in general has grown up. I was unsure how I would feel about this change in style, but as it turned out, I absolutely love it.

I think the simplest way I can put it is: The episode was bloody brilliant. Both the characters and story were interesting, intriguing, emotional, and clever. It might even be my favorite episode of the series as a whole; yes, I loved it that much.

I look forward to seeing more of this new, grown up Skins.
