Intense and Intriguing - Review of Attack on Titan Season 1
After seeing people on Tumblr's immense interest in the 2013 anime series Attack on Titan / Shingeki no Kyojin, based on the manga by Hajime Isayama , I finally gave it a shot yesterday. I got so caught by the series that I've already finished the whole first (and only) season. It is simply that captivating.

At I first I was confused by the world I had been thrown into but this confusion quickly turned into intrigue and interest. While animes normally aren't my kind thing, the story and characters of Attack on Titan were so interesting and captivating that I couldn't stop watching.

Attack on Titan has excellent writing, story, and characters. It might be a bit slow at telling its story - but this is mostly through its focus on the depth of the characters and the character development. The story is also so full of surprises and unpredictable twists that I never once were the least bit bored.

Attack on Titan is not perfect - but it is not far from it either. It is utterly addictive, intense, unpredictable, interesting, and overall a great series.
