We're back!

Our next screening is on 8 May at the Watershed, Bristol as part of the Filmic Festival.

The film will be followed by a Q&A with Ron and Director Tom McInnes.

Straight aftrer that is a showing of Schelsinger's 1971 masterpiece 'Sunday, Bloody Sunday' to which Ron composed the score.

FROM THE FILM: According to Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, the choice of Ron as composer on Atom Heart Mother was inspired.

"I think there was this feeling that in order to be able to make anything more of it, we needed to add a greater dimension.

"It would have been all too easy to find ourselves with the London Symphonic Orchestra, and something awfully, awfully dull really.

"Ron brought something a bit more extraordinary. Almost certainly he’s had insufficient recognition."

FROM THE FILM: "I was hoping he was better behaved," muses The Who's Pete Townshend, recalling the early seventies and how Ron gave live performances at the time a major shot in the arm.

"But he was badly behaved. He was a terrorist. He was a vigilante."
