Video from our June 17 performance of the Brahms German Requiem, with Bread and Puppet Theater (one of the oldest nonprofit theater groups in the country), who did an elaborate piece choreographed to the music. Jeh Kulu Dance and Drum Theater also performed. The concert was a benefit for famine relief in Africa and the USCRI/Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program. Several members of the Vermont Somali community spoke about how and why them came to the USA as refugees.

+Green Mountain Mahler Festival performed our 7th Annual New Year's Day Beethoven's Ninth this afternoon. It was a benefit for the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program. Still tallying things up, but it looks like we raised a nice amount for them.
