This is a great video I always have difficulty with bias tape

Finish your raw edges with bias tape so that the inside of your garment will look as sharp as the right side.

Sewing Tip: Add a piece of remnant carpeting/matting under your machine. It keeps the machine in place and reduces noise. #sewing

I'm looking for some new textiles. Joann's is great but looking for more options. Does anyone have any good online fabric suggestions?

This is a great time saver

When I cut out facings, I iron the interfacing on to a square of fabric and then cut out the facing. Much quicker and neater. plus no sticky bits to get on your iron or ironing board. Fee, My Sewing Club

Once you start drafting your own patterns... you never stop because you find that it's quicker to create your own rather than adjust a commercial pattern  :)

Butterick 5559.  I love this dress and it fits like a dream. It's difficult to see the pintucks on the dress but they are very flattering.  I want to try this one in a pretty solid pink!
